Yes, I said the same about Cavill, but I think they would want to surround Cavill with better known actors.

But is it essential the movie needs big names to attract audience? I think it boils more down to hype and the fact Christopher Nolan is involved. Its already winning just with his name.

Thats true I think in the promotion they'll definitely use a from the director of the Dark Knight and Inception that will instantly turn heads. Still adding big names will also help attract interest.

I doubt this actress is any where near the project ,but since this is a fan casting board , I'm gonna throw out Thor and Kyle XY actress Jamie Alexander , though I think she could probably play other female roles such as well like Ursa or Mercy. I don't know if her name has been mentioned here beore , but if so , oh well...

I like Jamie and I was a big Kyle XY fan, but I haven't seen her in anything else. Maybe I could see her as Lois but I'd have to see Jamie in another role first.

forgot she was in knowing, but i just noticed she was in I Capture the Castle

That would be incredibly misleading, as people would assume Nolan is directing, not Snyder (Which is what a lot of fanboys also secretly desire, but that is neither here nor there ). "From the producer of The Dark Knight and Inception, and the director of 300 and Watchmen" would be the way to go, my lad.
