I disagree, recasting destroys continuity especially when we're desperately clinging to continuity in these x-movies. I think January Jones could do better under Singer's direction. I found a lot of the acting in FC as underwhelming as Jones' anyway.

No, it really doesn't. We've had two Pyro's, THREE Kitty Pryde's, two Beasts (no including Hoult), two Sabretooth's, etc.

Here's what's wrong with everything you're saying:

Kitty: X1- no close up shot, 3 seconds of screen time.
X2- close up shot, the rest of the performance was from behind. 30
second scene.
Beast: X2- blink and you'll miss it cameo, in human form. Answer: image
reducer, we will see it in DoFP used my Hoult's version
Pyro: X1- LOL
Sabertooth: XOW- 11 years prior to X1
X1- 11 years after the former, more savage look, no lines, who
knows what happened over time to him.

I don't see how these compare to recasting Emma, unless there's a huge time gap between the two films.

But several of those were people who continued to act. You guys are the ones who say that recasting should not happen, I'm showing you that it doesn't matter. Recasting does not matter. It has not hurt films at all over the years. We're also on our third Hulk actor too, and while Bana's film isn't fully considered in canon, Norton's is, and going from Norton to Ruffalo didn't hurt a damn thing. Going from Jones' incredibly bland and boring performance to someone who could bring life to the role and make her into the real diva she is, would not hurt a thing in these films.

The difference between the X-Men movies and that of the MCU is that the latter has a huge comedic element to it in tandem with the rest. The recast of Rhodes had even made fun of itself. With Norton and Mark Ruffalo, we saw none of the characters that had interaction with Norton's version have interaction with Ruffalo's version, for the purpose of creating confusion. Why do you think Hulk isn't getting solo films? What happened to the Stark/ Ross subplot? Vanished along with that film. The only connection it has was the fact they mentioned "last time I destroyed half of Harlem". However, like I stated earlier, recasting Emma isn't out of the question if they cast and older actress for another time period, as if she were to appear in the OT. That's the same thing that happened to Sabertooth's character and part of the reason why no one cared.

No. The recasting has absolutely nothing to do with why Hulk isn't getting solo films. Hulk isn't getting solo films because the last one underperformed. Norton is irrelevant.

Recasting character in one serie is the worst thing, I hate it, so better keep the same actor even if he isn't oscar level. We have a lot of other really good actors in this movie, Till won't have so much time at screen as Jackman, Lawrence, Fassbender,...

I think they could have had Frost for the third act and tussling with Mystique, instead of having her imprisoned and Magneto rescuing her, which (as DOFP is looking to indicate) wasn't really necessary.

Such as it was in the actual FC movie, we had a Mystique scene that showed that she can morph her uniform as well. While wearing her blue/yellow FC uniform she was able to morph into Kevin Bacon, sans her blue/yellow FC uniform...

XOW takes place 15 TO 17 years before X-1

Why would beast use an image inducer in X-2 when hes a high ranking government official in X-3? [which takes place a few months after X-3]

15-17 years just solidifies my point about Sabertooth. I was trying to come to a some type of resolution with Beast in X2, but its such a blink and you'll miss it cameo, it doesn't matter.

That's why Singer is master, he made her naked. It's ridiculous in FC and in comic she morphs her clothes with her body. The same Emma in FC.
Singer is best man as director for X-Men movie.

She didn't morph into, she had to wear it because Charles said, they aren't bulletproof. Also earlier before she knew Eric, when they meet government, Mystique was wearing clothes and she morphed into Stryker Sr.
Vaughn made mistakes.
