Days of Future Past The Official Lucas Till/Havok Thread

I think he might be killed off.

It would explain why he didn't exist in the first three films.

Actually I'm fine now if they didn't do this Polaris-Havok thing. I don't think Havok stayed with Charles Xavier after FC and even if we got another FC film after this, it should focus on Storm, Jean and Cyclops. I think if they are gonna use Polaris in the future, she doesn't have to be a love interest to Havok and they could get a well-known actress to portray her.
By the first 3 movies im assuming that you mean the OT, I have disagree with you here just becuase he isnt in those movies dosent mean he died or anything. He may have just decided at the time that he didnt want to be an Xman and to live a normal life. There's plenty of characters that havent been introduced in the present though some could possibly be dead others just havent been introduced yet. I really dont care for a present Havoc unless its played by Lucas Till because I love his voice:hrt::hrt:

I agree with you here though, if they do another FC then I think that it should focus on Storm,Jean, and Cyclops at least for the most part. It gives those characters a chance to be fleshed out moreso. Id love to see Polaris and I wouldnt mind her not having a connection to Havoc. Dazzler and Polaris are the ones which i really wanna see onscreen

He's retired (he'd be in his 60's in the OT at least). It's a simple explanation that works.

Being dead would be a good excuse on why he didn't appear in the original trilogy and it also rules out the possibility of an older Havok appearing in the future movies.

you dont like Havok do you?

LOL no. I wanted him to return in FC2 as one of the X-Men.

But I just prefer to see him in his young age and not a man in his 60s and above.
I dont wanna see him either in the current XMen,the only reason I tolerated him was because of Lucas Till.

I like havoc, so glad he's in the movie, I think it's simply allowing them to open out things and not every mutant has to be an xmen, I think it's cool to see him do his own thing

I agree, he did a solid job in FC and Lucas always shows a lot of passion for his character and X-men in general, maybe it was that passion that drove Singer to give him a little part in the movie?

So random thought,

With Havok in the military, do you think Charles has him enlist to have a man on the inside similar to the scrapped idea from X3 where Rogue infiltrated the Brotherhood in the woods?

thats exactly what I thought when Bryan tweeted the pic.

would be a great plot point to me. Something the franchise hasnt done, showing Xavier sending an x-man in an infiltration mission.

Possible.

Although if it's meant to have happened while the US was still in Vietnam...that seems like a real dickish thing to do to Havok.

Going by his attitude in FC I'd think he'd volunteer to go.

Volunteer to go to be an insider for Xavier? Or just to fight teh evil communists?

Because if it's the former (unless he's just recently signed up now that the war is ending/has ended) he's basically signing up to go to a likely death trap on the other side of the world where he won't be in any sort of chain of command regarding military plans about mutants in the US.

In the case of the later...I have mixed thoughts on that. I could see him volunteering...maybe...but he also seems weary of authority and of misusing his powers (which could be exploited if the military discovered them). Also, again, unpopular war/death trap.

Havoc in FC seemed to be anti-authority, so I'm not sure that I even buy him hating Communism, much less enlisting in the military.

I think he would if it would be more like a mission for Xavier.

If Lucas Till weren't so darn hot, I'd dislike this a lot more.:o

I didn't really expect him to get a magazine cover, so its cool.

So wait, is he on Mystique's side now? She standing right next to him and he attacks the other guy instead.

Well Havok was part of the Brotherhood in X-Men Legends, so.......

i assume stryker is up to no good with them and its only just revealed that there is more going on, i doubt mystique just said a few words and brought havok to the dark side

we know he and toad have some power display so its likely there will be something happening there, they have the character INK there also which i assume he will be used for his powers also, maybe with sentinels

it was also said that group of mutants volunteered for experiments that created the sentinels

Interesting that he's shooting blasts from his arms. Does he have far more control or was the hole chest attack not working out?
