Well maybe if ANYONE would bother to ask!

The article also stated Havok would be Cyclop's brother.
Honestly, at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if this movie does away with much, if not all of, the future franchise. They said it was the start of a new trilogy, and frankly by the time "First Class 2" comes out, no one will really care if Cyclops, Jean, and Angel find there way back into the trilogy. Think about it, by the time this movie comes out we'll have been 11 year removed from X-Men 1. More than likely if it warrants a sequel, that movie will be 13 years old at that time. In this same time frame we've seen Batman use Two-Face twice, and we will see Catwoman and Bane re-used soon as well. It's more than possible for FOX to re-introduce characters.i believe that AICN article said Alex Summers by name
Please, don't joke about that.maybe they're making Havok Cyke's dad.

Lets also make Emma Scott's grandmother and Mysitque is really his aunt. What would be wrong with that?
Why because in the comics he is Cyclops brother?
Would changing his realtionship to father REALLY change the character that much?
No it wouldn,t,
What goes on in the comics verse, doesn't mean it HAS to happen in the movies.
It's not like he was suggesting making Havoc be telepathic,
Besides theres a really good chance Havoc won't be Cyclops brother in the movies, so be prepared to be dissapointed like 90 percent of you x-men fans on everysinge thing about the movies, since nothing pleases you guys.
Lets also make Emma Scott's grandmother and Mysitque is really his aunt.
Simply put, NO.
Thats a horrible comparison, Cyclops isn't related to Mysituqe or Emma , by adding that , yes that would be stupid, but Cyclops and Havok are related, changing from Brother to Father wouldn't change the dynamic that much, seing is how no matter what we won't see them on screen together in this verse.
Well, we could have seen them together in a sequel to First Class that introduced Cyclops...
So it could be then that Havok ends up being the father of Scott instead??
Is the First Class version of Havok old enough to have Scott as a child? I thought Havok was just a teenager in this.
It radiates from his body in a massive burst - and is often seen originating from his chest - but can be channelled through his hands for a targeted blast.
Havok is a battery. He soaks up cosmic radiation that exists naturally in our surroundings and comes from outer space.
Cyclops' energy source is solar radiation (which consists of visible light plus infa-red and ultra-violet rays).
(The sun does emit some cosmic radiation, usually in solar flares)
I hope we see a different effect than Cyclops' red beam. Some trailer descriptions indicated Havok's power was a red beam coming out of his chest. I don't like that idea. It's inaccurate and boring.
Here's a Havok montage assembled from various images online:

The red beams disappoint me because I can't imagine having Cyclops and Havok in the same film now without it seeming extra redundant. Which means it'll probably never happen on screen.
The new Bryan Singer interview pretty much confirms they're not related ..
Not an enormous fan of the Havok power effect from the trailer. I was hoping for something that built a bit more.
Havok is a teenager many years before Cyclops is born. He could easily be the dad, yes.
He says they're not brothers, but kind of hints they could be related...The new Bryan Singer interview pretty much confirms they're not related ..
