So, we all know there's a new on-going for the Hero for Hire, being planned for 07. The creative team hasn't been annouced yet, but that doesn't mean you can't use your nuggin's to think of who you want on the book.

Discuss!

Luke Cage rules. Best Black character next to the Black Panther.

And the best part is, Luke looked up to BP a lot, before becoming a hero.

What do you guys expect from the new on-going?

I would like the first issue to mainly take place in his neighborhood and what really would be nice is to finally create an "arch-villain" for Luke. I don't want it to be Purple Man either.

I'm loving the fact that they aren't calling it "steel-like" skin anymore. Unbreakable skin sound much better. Ups his power levels. Now if they could somehow make him as strong as Thor or at least Namor, I would be happy. Give him a costume too. He ruins to many nice clothes fighting.

Oh yeah, my pic for his ongoing's creative team: Brian Bendis/John Singleton & Ed McGuiness. It should just be big crazy adventures mixed with down to earth street level stories.

I disagree, Cage should stay at his current power levels and I wouldnt really like him as much with a costume; to me he seems like an every man, he's a normal guy and has other responsibilites. He can't go running around in bright yellow shirts with metal head bands punching things for money.

No 6 parters.Done in ones or 3 to 4 parters tops.Cage is a street hero so it's the perfect oppurtunity to tell self contained stories.

He's not going to need the serious introduction characters like MK and IF got since he's been just about everywhere for the past couple of years.

In that pic, last panel, he has a wasps waist.

That, and Luke Cage sucks.

I agree. short arc's would be best and leave room when they drag him into a "marvel event."
