On a side note; it'd be pretty cool to see General Zod have somewhat of a army or a battalion of troops to lead in a live action version this time around.

Granted, I'm not expecting, nor wish to see him bring a army of Kryptonians into the mix, but I do see the potential in bringing in prisoners from the PZ, especially with photos of that CGI individual that was fighting alongside Faora against Superman in Smallville.

I can't wait for Zod to show what happens when someone with Superman's power level goes bad.

There's real chance to actually redefine the "traditional" good-guy superhero amongst todays gritty anti-heroes like Batman and Wolverine.
I think Captain America laid the foundation for that. Let's see where Supes can take it.
Oh I agree completely.

I was actually rewatching Owls of Ga'hoole last night. There is so much I love about the way it was filmed. When the Guardians go into battle it's really beautiful, and I love that slow mo shot of soren flying through the rain and lightening. Gives me shivers :)

But there are times when he cuts to slow mo for a few seconds in the middle of the action where it feels more like someone keeps pressing pause and play!

Been meaning to see that. I loved the books as a kid, so it should be a nostalgia trip.

Man, he's really funny when casual. I'm really surprised. He's not even trying. That face and that hat. Deadpan at its best.

You probably shouldnt watch this right before seing MOS though.

General Zod has gone bonkers. :lmao: I laughed so hard...even more when I imagined if this was part of MOS and Zod had indeed gone bonkers. :hehe: Shannon is fantastic.

Though, it's really nice how he randomly throws in this line during the video: ´´I've been thinking a lot about Krypton, and how I have to protect it.`` The movie is still far away and already I see this guy and I think he IS Zod. He's always so creepy but totally cold and in control, like a General should be I guess. Great casting. I just hope the script does Zod justice and it isn't like Red Skull in CA. That was such a generic and cliched written villain role, no substance at all, very cartoonish (kind of like Superman 2's Zod actually), Zod deserves better. :awesome:

In all seriousness, how does he come off disinterested?

I don't know, it's just the way I interpreted it. You all will probably interpret it a different way......

“There are legions of fans salivating, who will literally spend the next year and a half looking at the clock, waiting for this movie,” Shannon said, shrugging his shoulders. “That’s just the way it is. I don’t know why. Me, personally, I’m not a huge fan. I can’t even read comic books. I don’t know which panel to look at next. I hardly ever know what any of the characters are talking about. So, no, I am not one of them. But there are a lot of them. They’re out there. And they really want to talk to me about this movie!”

Like I said, that's just the way I read it. I know that some of you are going to say "he doesn't sound disinterested, he just......"

He was saying that he wasn't a comic geek. Few filmmakers/actors involved in comic book movies are.

See I told you someone would say something like that! It's just the way I interpreted it and you can say what you thought it meant all day, but to me that's the way it read to me. Sorry.

No need to apologize. I see what you mean. I interpreted like HighFive did, though. :)
