^ Can't recognize a joke, apparently
There will be no ****ing extended cut!!! The theatrical cut IS the DIRECTOR'S CUT!... That's the differents between Nolan and every other director in HollyWood! He seems to be making his director's cut from the very begining! Others ought to learn!
Okay, I'm pretty damn good with plot-lines generally - but did i miss something or did everyone else cos I left the cinema with one MASSIVE question...
When Joker set up Rachel and Dent with barrels of gasoline, Batman went after Rachel and not Dent, right? So why did he end up with Dent and the police with Rachel?? I assumed Joker mixed up the addresses on purpose, but that was never said.
Did I miss something? PLESE tell me!
^^^
Joker at that point knew that Batman would go after Rachel so he purposely gave Bats the wrong address. Remember, it was his plan to turn Harvey into an evil man.
Plus, Harvey was even surprised when Batman showed up. Even he knew that Bats would save Rachel.
its not really a plot hole but it left me questioning it. when the joker is going after harvey in the chase sequence is he going after him because he actually believes hes batman, or is he after him just because hes harvey dent?
Joker has people all over the city. It is possible he hid the bombs, it is also possible the place was rigged long ago he just felt now was the time to trigger it. Explaning this would be like trying to figure how Batman dissapears all of a sudden.
The goon with the bomb in his stomach was a crazy person probably from Arkham. Joker promised to get rid of the voices in his head if he put these "lights" into his stomach.
Joker probably didn't plan on being arrested, however he probably planned ahead if he was to get arrested. The man with the bomb in his stomach was his back up plan. He could use him for any situation, his use wasn't simply for breaking out of jail. It is his ace up his sleeve.
I could of done with out Batman taken out the entire Gotham SWAT team. Then he can't even handle 3 Dogs.
This part got to me... one second the Jokers in the warehouse w/ the cops ready to bust him and he burns the money... then Joker see the TV, calls in and informs the city that hes got a hosiptal wired to blow. Next scene hes dressed as a nurse. I know its a movie; but it just a little to fast for me.
The dogs had more surprise element. I don´t think he was using his sonar at that time.
His sonar was screwing around.
The only two things that bothered me, but only a little where:
1. After Batman jumps to save Rachel, Joker just leaves? Wasn't he still looking for Harvey?
2. Where's the ****ing mono rail from Begins?![]()
Yes, he did it on purpose, because he´s a deceiter and cheater, just like with the phone thing in jail, just like being arrested on purpose. which is why Batman didn´t listen to Gordon and went to see the hostage situation closer later, because he realized that Joker always cheats and deceits.
Just one little thing for me... I wondered why in the ferries nobody questioned, "how can we even believe this man will live up to his word, he´s a psycho!" I know they were dealing with the only choice they were given, but someone could have brought that up,
Your sig crap. Dark Knight is a comic book movie. Batman is a superhero. "Detective Comics" and "Batman" are comic books. Any "graphic novel" you have read of batman, isnt a graphic novel, it's a trade paperback of a comic book miniseries.
Year 1, Long Halloween, DKR were ALL miniseries, made of single issue, 22 page comic books. Just because you find it at borders next to the manga doesnt make it a graphic novel.

The only real gaping plot hole was leaving the Joker at the party, when Batman went after Rachel. The Joker could have killed everyone there including Alfred.
Other than that one, I didn't notice much.
