I want a PS4 at launch But I'll just wait till next year when I get my tax return,Games like inFamous:Second Son and Destiny comes out next year anyway.

With rare exception the best games don't come out until the mid-life of a console.

And my favorites usually don't come out till its on its last leg.

With exceptions, of course.

Already pre-ordered mine :D

Not any games, will trade in my junk of an XBox and stack of finished PS3 games later for that.

What are people gonna buy first?!

My list is
- Watch Dogs
- Assassin's Creed 4 (can't be worse than 3)

Really like the look of Drive Club and The Crew but need to see more.

The Division looked fantastic, think so far Ubisoft have the best line up.

I was asleep during the live event, it just a looks like a big box I was hoping Sony would make PS4 like PS3 Slim. The price should be £256 not £349 if US version is $399 if you look the exchange.

Is the release date really December 31st? I checked Amazon and Wal-Mart online and they both list December 31st as the release date.

Was there anything you liked about it?!
I think we'd all love it to be cheaper, but it is cheaper than the XBox. UK always gets screwed when it comes to prices, it is region free so maybe ship one over.

Amazon will not charge anything for the PS4 Pre Order until it ships right ?

I'm happy it's cheaper than the Xbox, but the fact UK has to pay more is a bit of a let down, does anyone know the actual reasoning why it's more? It works out at about $542 at that cost.

It's no different with Euros. €399 is $529. But that's not really much of an issue for me. That's already how it is right now. It's pretty much a 1:1 conversion, they just change the money tag. A game that costs $60 in the US, costs €60 in Europe and like £45 in the UK.

i don't know. Cost of living? Even within a country you can't always directly compare cost bc of different factors. $400 in one area is not the same as $400 in another

Yeah I guess it's just me expecting too much, apart from that i'm impressed enough to be getting the PS4.

Day one digital releases on the PS4 will also be good. Any games I know I will like I will just buy & download them. The rest I will just Gamefly them

Sony shares up about 2% (in US) which is a lot given rest of the market down 1%.

matte look is very reminiscent of the original PS3 slims. I like that they went with a more traditional simple shape and not some curved odd thing like the first PS3 design. Anyone have official dimensions and weight?

Always been that way. :csad: They can just get away with these kind of prices in the UK & Europe for some reason. All this stuff is always cheaper in the US. They will achieve good sales at these relatively high prices here but at the equivalent dollar price in US would put a lot of people off as they aren't used to paying up.

Im American. I dont do the metric system....lol

ETA: Just did my research and that equals ~ 6 lbs, which is less than the PS3 Slim's 7 lbs and almost half of the original Phat's 11lbs!
