In the end its really no reason for any concern. If it is true I could imagine Sony holding a portion of the ram allocation for future needed updates. If a new hot feature is added, to say xbox, they won't be caught with their pants down. (See party chat). PC games today are optimized with 4 gigs in mind excluding mods.

Not really. Not every plus title interests me, and I don't have a problem deleting things to make room. I got through a year of plus just fine on 80gb.

As a guy who has his launch day Xbox 360, I've gone a long time on only a 20GB hard drive (though I'll have to replace it for GTA V).

The only reason I don't purchase more digital stuff is because I only have 20 GB of free space from 120 GB.

I won't buy a PS4 until it comes with 1 TB. Probably the Slim.

I just did a bit of time traveling..And you know what? Anyone that complains about the PS4 launch line up is silly. I know we discussed this already but to actually google it and see what each system had (PS3/360 all the way back to the PSX and the N64) this line up may be the very best we've had...in a very long time.

Again..I know we've talked about this..but just look if you have the time..

Too bad they gave up the ghost as SOON as the PS2 was announced..This was also the first and only console I had modded..I had a switch on it that allowed me to play imported games. Legit games..Just imported.

Wow..I don't remember this launch sucking so bad, haha. I had Mario 64 at launch..I remember finding the system under my parents bed, hidden for Christmas.

I think it's safe to say that if you can't find something that interests you with the PS4 launch lineup..Then..I can't help you.

I think the launch lineup isn't bad at all overall, but I do think the exclusives are on the weak side for both consoles.

Exclusives? Yeah..I agree. However, I fully expect to have more within launch window. I really can't wait to see what Sony has in store for us at Gamescon. I expect to see a good bit more on the exclusive side.

I agree there too. There will probably be more exclusives within the launch window to give developers more time to make games and in order for more people to buy systems too.

Sure, because bigger HDD's are given for free to us whenever we ask for one, right?

Not free..buuuuut...you can get them super duper cheap. NewEgg.com often has 1TB HDD's for under 50 bucks.

If you're buying a $400 system, then buying a 1TB hard drive shouldn't be a problem at all. Even if you buy a 500GB system first, save up and get a 1TB later. Some cost as much as a game.

Guys, if you knew how expensive things are over here...
What I'd need to spend in one HDD you guys would spend in 3. Inflation is big.

When I bought the PS3 Slim (120 HDD), it was cheaper than the original PS3 when it got here. I'm expecting the same from the PS4 Slim. Like the PS3 Slim, it'll probably be improved in some areas, so I think it'll be worth the wait. Besides, I'm in no hurry at all.

I'm sure glad I don't have to worry about HDD space,500 GB is more than enough for me since I only rent most games and so I delete the saves after returning them and I only actually own a few games per year then after a while I trade them in or something..thus getting rid of those saves too.

I plan on downloading much more PSN games and Demos than on PS3 But I'll probably get rid of them(especially demos)after a while,I add a bunch of custom music But I never go past 1 GB

No Im saying that 500gb should be MORE than enough for the immediate future. Especially since none of the PS3 content will be backwards compatible, there simply wont be enough content available on the store to worry about it being filled up anytime soon. When you need to upgrade, you will have had plenty of time to have saved up/found a deal on a new one

Will PS4 have dynamic themes/background wallpaper?,I'm looking at PS4's new interface closely and don't know how themes/wallpapers will work to look good.
