I'm hoping TRU has a but one get one 50% off like they normally do with games when a new system launches. I have KZ paid off buy I'll get BF4 and Watchdogs at TRU if they do.

Will games added to PSN's Day 1 games or whatever carry over to PS4's PSN at launch to download since there's no physical BC?

IF so..Does that include non-next gen games to download such as GTA V and Batman Arkham Origins?

Current console games on SEN are PS3 titles and are not backwards compatible with the PS4. When the PS4 comes out, only PS4 games will work on it. Any games released SEN at that point will either be developed for the PS3, PS4 or both. Buying a PS3 title doesn't mean you will be able to play it on the PS4 or vice versa. Its the same situation as the Vita. Only games with an actual Vita version will work on that system. It'll be no different with the PS4

Rocksteady and Rockstar will need to port their games to the PS4. Being able to download the games onto the system, wont give it the ability to actually run them. Take it with a grain of salt, but Ive read that GTA V will get an enhanced port for the next gen consoles at some point next year but that hasn't actually been confirmed. If that is in fact true, you'll have to wait for that to play the game on the PS4. The PS3 download would be useless

Ah now I understand and yeah I forgot how it's done with Vita versions,I'm mainly keeping my PS3 for GTA &Arkham Origins But yeah I can see ports being done next year or so with GOTY Editions or something.

Getting BF4 for the single player is a fool's errand.

Indeed, Battlefield is a multiplayer franchise first and foremost. The PS4 does seem lacking in quality FPS single player games for launch though. Even though I think Killzone can usually be better than most others out there that aren't single player focused.

I'm interested and excited about the PS4 But I'm mainly getting it at launch instead of sometime next year as I planed because of Battlefield 4,60 FPS instead of 30 sounds good and I want to be one out of 64 online players,Plus I'm guessing the graphics will be bit better on PS4&XB1 than PS3&360.

Oh and also for DC Universe Online,I don't have my saves on PS3 for it anymore and with PS4 I can play as everything downloads instead of literally waiting hours again

I'm very tempted to get a PS4 this XMAS, but frankly, the launch titles don't really interest me all that much. at least not yet.

games like Dragon Age Inquisition and Final Fantasy XV are what interest me. but DA doesn't come out till Fall 2014 and FF XV comes out who knows when.......

I'm also eager to hear if there will be new Fallout and Elder Scrolls (single player) games, as well as fighting games in the Street Fighter and Soul Calibur series.......

so I think I'm going to hold off for at least a year before getting a PS4.

plus, it will give me more time to save up!!! lol

and who knows, maybe in that time, the X1 will drop the mandatory Kinect.........

I meant that a goofy employee probably said they had "unlimited supply."

It was an internal memo given out to the stores:

1. PS4 Reservation New Information
Starting now, through this weekend and until further notice, Sony has allowed us to take unlimited preorders beyond your current allotments. In other-words, the flood gates are open for PS4 system reserves, we will let you know when to stop preordering based on limited quantities.

Even there it is clearly stated that it is unlimited quantity until it isn't anymore.
