Games run smoothly? Did you hear what I just said about my BF4? There's nothing smooth about that. I was playing on hard so story mode is gone. What a waste.

That's more than likely a user error on your part. Most aren't experiencing the issues you are.

Some are though. Some guy came online in my 2K game and told me his was doing same thing. I took your advice and tried to delete and download.

So, to get battlefield working because I deleted and downloaded again should I call gamestop or call EA sports?

DO NOT call Gamestop. Those guys won't be able to help s**t. And to be quite honest, EA won't be much of a help either.

Just reinstall the game, see if the issues persist.

Has anyone figured out how to change the color of the light on the console yet?

Ya I saw a bunch of articles talking about it, mine is white usually, but someone said it is possible to change it.

My console hasn't arrived yet but I heard BF4 is having a lot of issues on PS4. And it's a mix of a EA/Sony issue. I'm sure these issues will be fixed soon.

For a while it was because of the PSN being down, but now that's back up. But now the EA servers are down, and having some troubles. I'm sure by tomorrow or very soon they will have fixed it.

As my story went from earlier BF4 is the game everyone wants with 66 online at a time.

Thats surprising if it is need the main game to get multiplayer wise for PS4 considering COD. I won't get to play my console for about another week or so(due to school and me sending it home instead) so I'm sure the issues will be fixed by then but I'm sure it's frustrating for the people who just shelled over a lot of money to run into these issues.

Eh, it happens with almost every launch, and big release of anything.

It was working most of the day, but tonight they seem to be doing maintenance.

My friend has posted a cheeky message on Facebook calling the launch a disaster because of the hardware issues.

Don't get too offended though. He's just trolling because he's trying to get a reaction from me because I jumped ship and he thinks companies can have hurt feelings.

I'm not going to let it get to me though because I agree the hardware issues are a problem but I'm sure they'll fix it and I don't really want to spend the next ten years playing console wars :yay:

I agree, many people seem to be flippin out and jumping to conclusions quite quickly lol. Patience is key when it comes to new technology.

There is no hardware problems, just a few problems with PSN many of them are already working again.

I've kinda regretted canceling my PS4 pre-order and waiting till March or April..But it seems perhaps it was overall the best decision,Infamous bundle comes out late march so I can get that one and more updates should be waiting for me to fix issues plus more features!

PSN should be stable by then too!

PSN will be stable by the end of the weekend at max. It's already running a lot better. There will be small things in the future fixed, but the PS4 is worth every penny. Playing BF4 on it is just amazing.

I decidedly very late (relatively speaking) to order a PS4. By the time I did, all the launch pre-orders were gone. In fact, even the "standard edition" pre-orders on Amazon (the ones that ship in December or so) were sold out. So I pre-ordered their "New Year edition" that's supposed to ship January 15. I was far too lazy to wait in a line at launch, and it's too damn cold :oldrazz:. But now I think I walked ass-backwards into a good thing, since it allows for two months' worth of bugfixes and patches, where required. Plus, a larger game catalog won't hurt, either.

When did u order one on amazon? As of last night they had some in stock.

Had A few problems due to psn being shaky today. But I was able to mess around with AC:Black Flag,Resogun,Need for Speed Rivals and Warframe. Really happy with the system so far. Liking Reso and NFS the most right now. Can't wait to put more time into Black Flag. And still have Killzone, DCUO and Blacklight to try!

I am holding off on getting a Ps4 until around February or March as well (unless I somehow receive it as a gift around Christmas time). Infamous is the first next gen game I am really excited for.

Killzone MP is fantastic.. I absolutely love that they didn't really change anything that made it great. We spent a few hours in it last night and only lost one match. On top of it playing great I'm really surprised that it looks just as beautiful in MP as the SP does.

BTW.. The SP just looks rediculous. The rain sliding down people's faces, the lighting, the colors.. Just jaw dropping.

That's been my line of thinking throughout all of this. Having the box in my hand last night, knowing that it could have been mine right away really made me wish that I hadn't gave my order away, but I know that I just wouldn't have any use of it at the moment. inFamous is the only next gen only game that really has my attention, but I'm perfectly fine with waiting for it because I still have some catching up to do with this current gen's last few months.

I have a list of games that I want to pick up for cheap on Black Friday, and I have a total of 23 games on that list. But of those games, there's only 5-6 that I'm absolutely dying to get my hands on already, while the others are games that I would like to play and some that I just want to have in my collection. But I figure that should definitely be enough to get me by until next March.

Continued from my Killzone input.

AC4 is fantastic.. Once I was given the ability to pretty much Pirate that's all I've done and I can pretty much guarantee that it's never going to get boring doing that. The graphics come in at a beautiful 900p (supposed to get an update early next week that ups it to 1080) and I could literally just look at the water for hours. The main character is more like Ezio this time (likeable) and this time around. The gameplay is much improved as everything feels a but more "solid" with the stealth options greatly improved upon with vegetation.. Allowing you to pretty much hide anywhere.

Resogun.. Oh my Resogun. This game is fantastic.. At first I didn't know what was so special about it BUT once you start playing it you find out why it can't run on Ps3 or Vita.. Everything going on at once and the balls to the wall action are simply non-stop.. And for as simple and "polygonal" as the ships are it is NO graphics slouch. The colors, lighting and everything else is fantastic.

Didn't get to spend much time in Warframe. What I played was nice looking and fun.. But it seems a but complicated. We'gonna go back in and spend more time with it but right now I have a lot to play so it's kind of on the back burner.

DC Universe Online got a fairly impressive graphics update. . It's not as jaw dropping as the rest BUT it's nice to see the took the time to make this game fit in with next gen. I bought me one of the DLC packs (sons of trigon) to get new missions as well as new powers so I'm looking forward to jumping back into that.

The system itself, outside of a few "launch issues" at first (PsN being down) is pretty flawless.. Sony proves how well they know hardware here. The system is tiny, now power prick, yet feels pretty sturdy. The UI is also much improved over the XMB.. I love to be able to seamlessly transition between game and UI to check on... Whatever I want. Also, as much as I mocked the "ailly" social aspect of the system it was literally the first thing I did, haha.. And I think it's pretty neat.

I also think I'm gonna get hooked on Live Streaming.. Maybe not every game but it sure is fun to log on.. More so now that my sired connection issues are sorted out and I no longer have to do it wireless.

Anyway.. I can honestly say that right now this is 400 plus dollars well spent. Bravo Sony.
