I didnt even know there was a "Gamestop Edition"We aren't questioning your shopping habits. We're angered by Gamestop's branding on the game case.

"Like we've been saying, the focus has been always on the game features, and some of the features we wanted but we could get in on day one - game features - we were very disappointed," he said.
"We didn't really think about MP3 or DLNA. We always thought that we're going to do that eventually - we've been doing it with all the [PlayStation] products. So it caught us off guard. People don't really talk about these features but when we say we don't have it some people get really mad and [say], 'I cancelled the pre-order'."
Yoshida went on to confirm, "So as we speak, the teams in Japan and US - the systems guys - are discussing how and when we can put these features on PS4."

anyone going to pick up Injustice for PS4?
Does DNLA refer to the ability to put your own media on through USB? And the ability to play MP4 files?
Not really. We still have no confirmation on if they will allow USB for media storage.I guess that's the same thing for the most part, interesting.
Many people didn't care for all the new media stuff MS was doing with the TV and forced Kinect to implement said features, but there is basic functionality that one comes to expect. Like playing a CD seems like such a non issue as its been a standard feature in every Sony home console since the PS1. For the PS4 to have less functionality than the PS3 is puzzling. Like does having CD, MP3 and media server support costs a whole lot in time and money to implement? That's all carryover from last gen, not new tech. I don't see how having that stuff in the system would take away from them focusing on games bc that stuff isn't resource intensive to developWell, everyone did complain about the lack of focus on games from Microsoft. I remember the argument always being, "I only want it for games". So, when I heard about these non-game related features not being in...the "we just want it for games" thing just kept ringing in my ears.

But also there is a part of me that wonders if I should just save the money...and just get Battlefield 4 for now.
