This is how I feel about tonight...

:hehe:
Screen aside, the new Vita is better in every other way. Better battery life, you can connect via USB instead of that proprietary port the original had, lighter/thinner, 1gb flash memory, etc... If it were available in the US now, Id get it over the original unless that had a very tempting discount. I think a newcomer wont notice a difference between the screens bc unless they've owned one, they wont have that frame of reference. For me at least, I dont see it being a deal breaker. A BF sales could have done that but unfortunately none of the retailers have any sales on it. Maybe Amazon might
Interesting ...

I have the Walking Dead Bundle in my cart on Amazon just to see if the price drops below $200 at some point. I know it probably won't, but if it ever hits the $169 mark relatively soon, and I have the money for it, I mgiht consider it.

I've only played my brother's a handful of times so I don't know if I would notice the difference, but I'll have to go back and watch the comparison videos and stuff to see what the differences are and how I feel about them.

I never thought gamers would get this bad in nitpicking,It's one reason why I like to consider myself a casual gamer again than"hardcore"
You know, I've been gaming since I was in diapers, but I don't know if I can even consider myself a hardcore gamer at times. I'm really passionate about games, but never to the point where I would be nitpicking and complain about something obsessively.

Weeks don't get more eventful than this. Sony is ready to release the PlayStation 4, and we've played it. Tune in to hear all about it, and some discussion of a classic new Zelda game.

Not really. We still have no confirmation on if they will allow USB for media storage.

Many people didn't care for all the new media stuff MS was doing with the TV and forced Kinect to implement said features, but there is basic functionality that one comes to expect. Like playing a CD seems like such a non issue as its been a standard feature in every Sony home console since the PS1. For the PS4 to have less functionality than the PS3 is puzzling. Like does having CD, MP3 and media server support costs a whole lot in time and money to implement? That's all carryover from last gen, not new tech. I don't see how having that stuff in the system would take away from them focusing on games bc that stuff isn't resource intensive to develop

I agree.

It was just that there seemed to be a touch of irony in how it was playing out.

Hey did anyone hear what Sony said about Indie games? They say that the Indie revolution is over because Sony has tooled their console and handheld to coincide with the growing Indie market. Weird huh? Here's an article about it if you wish to read.

http://twodashstash.com/2013/11/sony-claims-indie-revolution/

I personally don't think it's over, but that's just me.

Thats really bizarre for Sony to say such a thing! Or at least odd for the SCEE guy to say. I don't know if I would say this is Sony's general idea though. It just seems like a foolish thing to state.

I bet they didn't state it. Any way we'll see what happens.

Ya....I don't think so. All Sony has done is talk about the Indie Games. In a sense it won't be hard for Indie games to get noticed anymore. Heck a lot of small indie games are coming with the PS4.

I think he's trying to say that because of the ease to make a game and put it out digitally, the playing field between Indies and big Devs has evened out. There is no more "indie revolution" or "big mean publishers" there's just games that everyone can get access to and play.

But he worded it really poorly.

Ya that's what I took out of it. It's no longer hard for an indie developer to be noticed. If you read the quotes it's what he was saying. But ya poorly worded.

So I'm gonna try and hit a K-Mart early to see if they got any units. Otherwise I guess I'm gonna wait a couple weeks for them to get a wide release and grab one then.

I have dudebro SPIKETV on. Just watched Gail Kim wrestle. She's great. Oh and the PS4 All Access show comes on at 11 eastern.

Months ago :csad:. I preordered it from ebgames and they should have known to get ready. It was terribly foolish of them.

That Winnie the Pooh gif cheered me up though

Wow, that sucks, totally unacceptable... I think, I may be in danger of missing out too. Pre-ordered back in June and Amazon still hasn't shipped.

Mine finally shipped at like 6pm. Does your estimate still say tomorrow?

I didn't even know Spike was still doing game coverage, so I had to turn to it now. Anybody getting that Brack Friday Bunduru?

A yeeeeeeah.

Yes it's 4 and I have worked tomorrow. Leave me alone.
