Just got a PS4 today to go along with my Xbox One. Now I'm caught up on Next Gen.

Now, speaking of the light bar on the Dualshock 4--why does it change colors?

It changes based on how you feel during that gaming session.

it depends on the game and how the developers code it. In some games it can denote between different players. In others its used to show health change (ex. Killzone will have red for heavy damage and that changes from orange to yellow to green as you heal). When charging in standby, it changes colors to indicate the power level

There Havok goes, telling his lies again. Just listen to my post sport, I speak the truth.

I just finished 100%-ing that game last night. I'd have no problem experiencing it on PS4 if done right. Tomb Raider was an amazing upgrade and Last Of Us on PS3 looks great enough already.

great news if Last Of Us is PS4 bound!

glad I held of getting it even when it went on sale....lol

I knew this would happen. My patience has been rewarded. I wonder if they'll gussy it up a bit like Tomb Raider or just do a straight port with improved performance.

I will gladly buy it again for ps4. One of my favorite games of all time.

Huh. I really did not see that coming. If it's not full price I'll def pick it up.
Oh it'll be full price, just like Tomb Raider was. Even though the game has already been released on the PS3, it's still technically a new game on a new system.

Same here, TLOU is probably one of the most emotionally charged games I have ever played and will gladly shell out the money to experience that in a Next Gen format.

Same here, I never stopped believing, and I'm glad i will be able to discover this game on the ps4. I'm sure it will be a definitive edition like tomb raider.

It makes absolutely no sense for them to release TLoU as a standalone title on PS4, giving its the marquee title for PS Now. Sounds counterproductive

I don't know how much a PS now title will cost, but they probably think that people who didn't play it on the ps3 and who don't wnt to pay for a full priced ps4 game will still give them their money with the PS now version.

Money. It will make money. Not everyone will subscribe to PS Now.. irregardless of what they offer and heaven knows when PS Now will even hit, I highly doubt it's ready by Summer.

it will make money for sure but that kind of adds to my point. This was a big title for Now and one that could help drive and sell the service, but having it as its own standalone thing makes Now look less attractive and it kind of seems like a move like this would cripple it. Would one want to get the PS4 remaster with all DLC and enhancements or get a PS3 version thats being streamed? If the latter was the only option, it would fare better but if its not, then it makes people less likely to jump aboard. TLoU standalone is a one hit wonder in terms of sales, but Now is supposed to be a service thats supposed to generate revenue for years to come. Releasing TLoU standalone seems shortsighted when Now is part of their bigger long term goals.

I'm not entirely sure how one game would cripple an entire service. Again we're not even sure when Now will hit. Sure Sony says Summer but who knows.. Maybe it will get delayed. I'd want to get TLoU into the hands of new Playstation gamers as soon as possible.

"When approached, a representative for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe provided Joystiq with the following statement: "'At no time have we announced that The Last of Us is coming to PS4 and therefore, have nothing to say on the subject."
We'll see if anything changes.

Seeing as I use my PS3 probably 70% of the time as a media device for movies/tv, does the PS4 actually upgrade on that experience in any noticeable ways?
