Ah, but I think that is different. That was a character made to represent yourself like a Mii, an "avatar" of sorts. For Playstation a avatar is just a simple picture like on these forums.

I was talking about avatars as in an "icon"or profile picture, not Xbox Avatars. I think that was pretty clear, but whatever.

Sony has bigger things to update than themes. You know, like stuff they said was coming but have been quiet about. Pause/resume, DLNA functionality, MP3 and video support, the feature where someone can take over your game online, etc..... Not to mention a dedicated Youtube app, better support for Bluetooth devices, an actual BT media remote, full blu-ray functionality, Lets get those fitrst

Closer than I expected in US for Feb (sales within 10% of each other). This is before TitanFall obviously.

So I planned on waiting to grab a PS4 this fall, but with the realization that MGS:GZ is coming out, I'm considering picking up a PS4 next week.

Problem is, thus far, MGS:GZ and Killzone are really the only PS4 games I'm interested in (that are currently out, anyway), so I'm hesitant on grabbing one with only two games to play for the next few months (not including paying to get the upgraded versions of Tomb Raider, AC4, and COD).

Anyone know if there will be major differences between the PS3 and PS4 versions of MGS:GZ?

It's just graphics and framerate. PS4 has the best of the 4. They released a comparison video a while ago:

Cool thanks. I ended up picking a PS4 up today after work. Haven't gotten a chance to play anything yet, just updated software and got my apps loaded. Looking forward to playing.

I don't use the mic and usually mute everyone else's mic on the lobbies before playing an online game,I haven't even tried a party yet.Although I woud like to try it with a friend since I liked that on the 360

GameStop/EB tend to get about 5 on a truck and the sellout within an hour. It's been that way since launch.

Had a great time on Killzone last night. And was playing some of the earlier Killzones on PS3 to get in the mood. Just can't get enough of that PS4 controller. Even when the console was off I wanted to keep it in my hands and walk around with it, haha.
