Seeing as I use my PS3 probably 70% of the time as a media device for movies/tv, does the PS4 actually upgrade on that experience in any noticeable ways?

Not really, DLNA, MP3, and MP4 support isn't implemented yet and apparently some of it will later in future updates. You can't really put anything ONTO the PS4 yet with a USB stick yet except for system updates downloaded from a PC. The next big update will apparently allow us to transfer Share videos/pics to a USB so that's a start. For now, the PS3 is more of a media device with it's media server abilities and all that other good stuff. PS4 is mainly a gaming console or now.

Same here, I never stopped believing, and I'm glad i will be able to discover this game on the ps4. I'm sure it will be a definitive edition like tomb raider.

that's what I was getting at indeed! I tried my ps4 yesterday and... wow....!!!! It's amazing and so easy to use. Infamous is GORGEOUS.

Hmm yeah that's why i've been debating when I do transition to the next gen whether I should hop on the XBO-one as I've heard it's more of a general media entertainment system than the ps4.

I'm just not as big a gamer as i used to be to be.

Nice, congrats! I must say now that my PS4 is finally working without any issues, I'm really getting into Assassin's Creed IV. I know, extremely late to that party, but better late than never! Plus, I should be getting Infamous: Second Son from Amazon on Monday, so I won't be too late to that party, haha.

I put my code in and it said thank you for becoming part of PSNow.. In te mean time browse out forums! I assume we're going to get a voucher at some point with another code to redeem in the store to download Now?

Ok, for the first time in forever, I'm finally on PS+!

I got 2 free months as part of a promotion with PSN store cards.

So, if I don't do anything, will the PS+ automatically renew? And how would it do that?

I don't have credit card info on file ( and don't want to ). Would it take money out of my PSN wallet to renew the subscription?

What if I have no money in my PSN wallet and no credit card info on file? Would the service just stop?

Can I turn automatic renewal off?

I thought you needed a credit card on file in order to take advantage of free vouchers and its automatically set up for auto renew which can be changed from your account settings

You can turn off auto renewal in your PSN settings.

so, does each month offer a new set of free games for +?

and do the new games replace the old offerings?
