surprisingly, I wasn't that bothered by the X1's size....lol.
I was expecting it to be this monstrous machine, but it didn't seem THAT big in reality.
but yeah, the PS4 does have a lot of little advantages, which might see minor, but they do add up.
Like, being able to save your game save data to a USB stick. The fact that you can create a local backup save for your game data is a big plus for me. especially when you're playing a game like DAI, where you're going to have many saves and many hours invested in the game.
don't fully trust the "Cloud" to be the only backup option available.
not to mention you can backup your save data on the PS4 even if the game is no longer installed. The X1 ties the save data to the game, so you have to manage the save through the game.
may seem minor, but it's a nice feature that the PS4 has.
and the X1 has nice features and advantages too over the PS4, don't get me wrong.
but, ironically, for all the harping I've done here about media playback features and a better browser ( which the X1 has ), I honestly didn't even use those much on the X1 once I started using it to play games.
and, at the end of the day, that's what these gaming consoles are for.......to play games. and it that respect, the PS4 has an advantage over the X1.
