5swhat device are you using it on? Works flawlessly on iOS on my IPhone 5S and Ipad Air
The only thing they need to work on with the Playstation app is the messaging (or in general). It's still quirky at times and stuck in loading for an eternity or times out. There was some improvement after 2.0 but then it slowly went back to crap. I use the app on my HTC One M8 with messaging being the only thing that drags half the time.
I was mainly talking about the media features comment in his post. He spent ages talking about that stuff across multiple threads, like he probably filled up actual pages of threads talking about it, but now it's just dismissed like it doesn't really matter and he doesn't even use it that much. He can feel however he wants, of course, just can't help but chuckle at that. You don't need to jump to his aid, I think X Knight will appreciate the irony (or I hope he will).

I am beginning to question that.
Unfortunately, we have no way of finding out, since real journalists don't care, and the journalists that do gaming are on the payroll of the major companies.
perhaps. but I just think if the issues were that common/widespread, we'd hear about them more, like the RROD issue with the 360s.

yes. the rrod was one of the biggest disasters for an electronics device. at its peak, it had a 53.6% failure rate, which means more than 1 in 2 360s failed. that is atrocious. that means not just a few thousand, or tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands, or even millions, it was TENS of millions of 360s being affected by the rrod.
and yet, my Elite 120gb 360 that I bought in 2008 lasted about 6 years without any major problems.
well hey. I had a defective Ps3 (fully BC, but stopped playing BC games) bought that from gamestop. eff gamestop.
which just goes to show that it's all the luck of the draw.
The amount of consoles this group goes through does make me question the notion that only a tiny percentage of units have defects. Not to mention the people I know in person who have had defective units.
I know it does no good to tell you, but you realize that we're talking about a group of 12 people at most. And you're the only one who has had these problems on a consistent basis. X Knight had one Xbone, and XB I think had one faulty PS4 maybe? No one else, as far as I know, has any issues of this very tiny group of people, so even by your own logic, it's not a widespread problem.
Actually, there was one other guy who had a grinding Xbone. I forget his name. Three, out of what? Six? I also recall more PS4 problems.
The fact that such a tiny group has so many problems to me suggests it is more widespread than people think. If this forum had hundreds of people with consoles and only a handful of people reported issues, that would be different.
By comparison, I never met anyone who had a problem with a PS2. Online or in-person. Two of my friends have had problems with their PS4.
Well, I'll say this much. Unless this PS4 literally catches on fire, I am keeping it.

I really love the gold headset, it's so comfy. My only qualm is it needs to be way louder for me. As a DJ I blast loud music into my ears all the time so I can't seem to get it loud enough. ANyone know of any ways I can make it get louder?
I'm debating whether to get the gold headset. I currently just use some stock ear buds with my ps4 and even that is a big upgrade over my tv speakers. Are the Golds worth the 100 dollar price tag?
