Unless I'm mistaken, every AssCreed game has come on sale for Black Friday. It'd be almost weird if it wasn't.

The AC games don't drop the week after BF. The games will be on sale ($35) BF weekend (November 27 - November 29) and then they will go back to full price ($59.99) until some point in early 2015. Likely March or April. So if you want Unity or Rogue for less than $60 and don't want to wait until 2015 your gonna have to grab it BF weekend from a store or online. Why not just go get the game from Best Buy the day after Black Friday?

but I may get it BF weekend, too, depending on what other games on my list are on sale. but right now, ACU isn't high on my list and there are several other games I'd rather get first.

although another option would be to get the ACU X1 bundle, since I am in the market for an X1.

I'm so far behind on the series. Last I bought was III but only had time to play it for a bit, and I still haven't completed Revelations. And I'll be busy for a couple of years now but at least when I get free and back to being a regular gamer I'll have a load of titles waiting for me at super-low prices.

My friend and I experimented with Share Play for a couple hours last night, it was really cool I'm pretty anxious to try again actually.

We played a few rounds of Injustice since I have that game and he doesn't and we did local vs. I gave him the controls to Driveclub which he loved and I watched him do his thing in Minecraft for a bit. Tonight I think we're gonna try CoD Ghosts to try the Extinction coop mode since I have that game and he doesn't.

There was no lag from what we could tell but me connecting to his system was a little iffy at times but I think I figured out this morning that me streaming an NBA game on my PC while we were playing may have to do with that. So tonight I'll make sure I'm not taking up any bandwidth on my PC and see if that's a smoother ride. All in all, a very cool feature I think.

Changing the background was cool too and I loved the quicker UI and home screen, having just 15 apps on the home screen is such an improvement and nicer looking with the library on the end. ANd the YouTube app, about time! I was using youtube.com/tv or whatever the link is but it's nice to finally have a dedicated app.

If there's one thing I want it's to be able to statically set apps in place. I used to access the Screenshot gallery by going to my Profile, but they removed that. Took me 15 minutes to find the app under the Library because I quite honestly forgot it existed.

I tried Share Play last night and it was completely unplayable. Like at least half a second of input lag, and the resolution was incredibly low as well, like a cel phone video from 2007. Not writing it off or anything, that was just the experience we had with it.

to be fair PSN has been having trouble since 2.0 was released. It may not be Shareplay itself, but other issues at hand

What game were you trying SharePlay with? Apparently Minecraft is a game I know is blocked or broken in SharePlay from what I've read after we had issues with it last night.

so I finally tried out the USB Music player. I like it!

the interface is pretty slick and easy to navigate, and I really love how you can play the music in the background and go and use other apps.

I think this will serve as a great "template" that future updates ( hopefully the next one ) can expand to include videos, pictures, and DLNA.

and once they add picture support, then they can let us use our own pictures as the background.

so, hopefully, 2.0 will lay the foundation for future updates and they can continue adding more media and personalization features.

But at least I can listen to my music now and watch videos through the Youtube app!!!

already I feel that I can use my PS4 for more functions than I could before 2.0........lol

so.......progress!!!

I was playing Injustice with my friend using shareplay and it performed remarkably well.


I am planning on using it to play Alien Isolation later.

I think they make HDMI>DVI adaptors, but I've never seen HDMI>Component adaptors nor HDMI>Composite adaptors.

My advice tell the guy to spend $150-$200 on a 720p of 1080p 32" tv. It's possible to find very cheap 32" LED tv's. Unless your friend lives in abject poverty or is living paycheck to paycheck and will starve if he buys a tv, there really is no excuse for him not to buy a new tv before he tries to buy a new HD game system.
