External harddrive support would be swell. I've got about 4 terabytes worth of external HDDs just wasting space in my office right now.

but yeah I dunno if the external hard drive thing is forreal. there was some third party accessory that came out last year by nyko that's supposed to make it easier for external hard drive support. but it kinda makes the Ps4 look ugly and it's probably expensive.

Yeah I work from home a lot and record music in my spare time, so an office is essential, lol. I actually never step foot in my bedroom unless it's time for bed/sexy fun times.

I remember reading about that nyko HDD and thinking it was horrific looking. I like my sleek looking PS4, so I wouldn't even consider using that thing haha.

An eight-minute video of PlayStation 4 system software update 2.50 has hit the internet, via Reddit user TehPoisonOne.

eh, I think it's pointless considering they make people have psplus for the regular. so it's meaningless to psplus subscribers and honestly feels meaningless to non psplus subscribers because it is only for certain random occasions like this.

I honestly don't care much about the free games. it's a great service but I don't ever end up playing a lot of them.

imo, playing online for free was one of the best things about playstation.

So, this isn't directly gaming related, but it seems that PlayStation Vue is launching today, somewhat stealthy. If you're not familiar with this, basically it was sort of like Sony's replacement for cable television streaming live TV channels. Much like PS Now, the biggest points are the price ($49.99 with no other tiers, making it roughly the same cost as most cable packages), and what it lacks (no ABC channels, which means no Disney or ESPN).

Hell, Unity might actually be a consideration. Target is selling it for 19.99. Target. If you're not big on following deals, Target is the company that lists the standard Xbox One for 349.99 as a hot deal.

A physical copy of Black Flag now costs more.

Absolutely loved and enjoyed would be 2 completely different things for me at least ha but I see where you're coming from.

For the games I loved, chances are I already bought them through retail (like Injustice and First Light). One of those exceptions is Resogun which is amazing. Along with Outlast which is great. I also enjoy games like Olli Olli 2, Transistor, and Trine 2 which were freebies for PS4.

But at the same time, it doesn't seem reasonable to compare PS+ freebies of PS3 to PS4 (which is essentially what is happening) since PS4 is barely a year and a half in. I haven't even gotten to all the other freebies waiting in my queue that I purchased in the IGC but I track them on my phone so I can remind myself what games I have

Uncharted 4 was supposed to be the big one but besides that and Bloodborne there's No Man's Sky, Alienation (from Resogun dev), Until Dawn, I guess they're doing a Ratchet & Clank Remaster to coincide with the movie, Let it Die, Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, and my money's on an Uncharted Trilogy Remaster (which would satisfy me to put up with the delay even though I'm sure I'll ave plenty to play in the meantime)

There are many PS4 games that aren't coming out on Xbone or Wii U, but if you mean exclusive as in only available on PS4 and literally no where else, then yeah, Sony's lineup is very thin.

agreed. But it's good for those who never played any of the games on Ps3. Even though they have a means of playing it on psnow & soon Uc3 could be there too

yeah, the lineup is very thin this year.

we'll probably see more at E3, but that will probably be for next year and beyond.

Heh, I kid. I agree for the most part but there are some there I'm looking forward to in the lists I've seen, but nothing on the Uncharted 4 level.

But again, in my situation at least, I've got a stack of games that'll last me for what feels like a decade haha. I know I'll be fine this holiday season. Only game I see myself buying this holiday season anyways is probably Star Wars Battlefront if it actually comes out near Episode 7 like they want. Then of course whatever Black Friday deals that come around on earlier released games.

driveclub was a game based mostly around online play and it had a bad launch. as a product now i think it's a good game but for the purpose of having a reception (at launch) it sucked. and we all know about the order.

that much about bloodborne won't occur because we know the game is at least 40+ hours long and isn't riddled with QTEs. although, the graphics in the order blow bloodborne out of the water.

as for online play, i personally don't think that'll be a huge issue but even if it is it won't be as much of a big deal since the game isn't based solely or mostly on multiplaer. even though it still would be a big deal.

What is the difference between a remake and a remaster? I am interested in hearing more about this ratchet and clank game because I am confused. Back when the first talked about it I got the impression that it was a complete new game like a crack in time, tools of destration ect and then I heard people say it is a remake or a remaster so I don't get where people got that idea. Because of that now I am just confused. I hope it is a complete new game like a thought it was going to be. What would be the point in a remake? We already had the game on the ps3 collection. What slightly better graphics?
