Btw, what route did Letterier go with Sterns' origins? Is he going to be a scient ala the comics or a janitor who falls into some kind of radioactive goo ala the 1996 Incredible Hulk animated series?

I wonder if (for the sequel) they'll go with the Ultimate incarnation of The Leader?

Has anybody seen this version, it's in the 'Ultimate Human' run. Looks loads better than '616' Leader.

I have to say I pretty much hated everything about ultimate Leader, so I hope they don't use him as inspiration for a movie version.

I'm referencing his look rather than his characteristics, if there was an amalgam of Ultimate and 616 it could work.

Classic Leader looks way too campy to be pulled off in the movie-verse, I'm sure others would disagree though?

When I said I hated pretty much everything about him that included the look.

I'm pretty sure that 'classic' Leader will look laughable on the big screen though, we'll have to wait and see.

The Ultimate Leader was weak and stunk of originality. It was more like some Nevermind/Charles Xavier ripoff. Much like everything "Ultimate" at Marvel, I hope the people in the movie division keep their distance from these lame reinventions of these characters since they dont even compare to a dim shadow of their 616 counterparts.

Yeah, way back when The Leader first appeared, Ditko drew the Leader with a bit of a round shaped head than what it ultimately deviated to with the Leader's forehead going straight up.

I tired to find it but I couldn't. His acting was so perfect IMO, from the delight in his face to when the Hulk transformed...to the touch on the shoulder....to his actions with EMil...to just how giddy he was over all of his replicated blood

Clearly he deserves a much bigger role in the sequal. His smarmy I'm already smart attitude gave me pause to think about just how increadible he will be as the brainiest of all villains

TBN's scenes are some of the best dialogue oriented scenes in the movie. I really hope he's front and center in the sequel.
