Just thought I would say that Scarlet Witch is, as of right now, my favorite female super hero because of her excellent portrayal in Age of Ultron. I hope we see her in Doctor Strange in addition to Civil War and Infinity War.

Also, am I crazy or did she disintegrate the drones when she has her freakout? They looked like they were being turned into a fine metal mist. If so, I'd probably rate that as right up there with Thor's mighty lightning strike, Hulk jumping high enough to reach the flying city, and Vision's phase kills on the list of cool AoU feats.

I think they've missed the boat here with Olsen's likeness. She kind of looks more like Monica Seles. She doesn't quite look like the actress, that's for sure.

Well Hot Toys are exceptional, but there are often a few details which aren't quite right with some of their figures. ScarJo's figures haven't been quite spot on with their likenesses, and this one with Olsen has something a little off with the eyes and possibly nose area. It's recognisably her, but not not quite there.

I find it that HT nails the likeness of the male characters more than the female ones. dunno why but it just seems that way.

Here's a comparison pic with a similar sultry expression of her in real life:

I do feel that, although the facial structure might be right, somehow the HT version seems to give the impression her face is wider.

Also, are her eyes the right colour on the doll? And maybe her eyebrows look thicker in real life. And also perhaps her eyes are not exactly the correct shape on the doll? And maybe she has more of a button nose in real life too.

I'm not sure though. I think when creating a figure or painting a portrait of someone, you can't just look simply at the reference photo but need to look at dozens of photos and even sometimes video footage (if you can't get them to sit for you in real life). You need to aim for a general likeness of that person at as most people would recognise them rather than simply going for complete accuracy of that particular photo you're using.

I think HT should've gone more for making it look like Elizabeth Olsen than Scarlet Witch first, and then once they nail that likeness, add any make up that might allow her to look more like the character. But Olsen rather than Wanda should've been the priority, because then people would automatically accept them as having nailed that likeness. Same with Black Widow. Make it look more like ScarJo first, then Natasha second.
