Pietro's costumes have always been awful so it's great that the movie is being consistent in this regard

I agree, there is no way you if you did a literal translation of any of his costumes from comics or animation would you get a good costume in live action.

Quicksilver is not just in running gear he is in his comic book costume. See below. Reasonable conclusion - Elizabeth Olsen is also in the official Scarlet Witch costume. Remember this is Joss Whedon's movie. Mr Whedon also wanted to do a Wonder Woman movie were Diana was going to be a "jetsetter" and not wear a costume. Fortunately Warner Bros turned him down. Also fortunately his contract with Marvel ends this year, hopefully a new director will know the difference between "sexist" and "sexy", "demeaning" and "feminine" .

What's with this trend of painting Whedon as a fake feminist or a misogynist? It's not exactly new; it's been around since Buffy, but I've been seeing it a lot more these days.

Do people not knowing/realize all the outfits we have seen are civilian clothes? They have nods to their actual outfits but they clearly aren't in Avenger uniforms....

I think that^^ is as close as we'll get to QS's costume in this film

SW may have an outfit they haven't shown yet, but I'm doubtful either of them get real 'uniforms' until soonest Civil War(if they make some sort of cameo) or much more likely, Infinity War

What's so funny is that Joss loves his female characters. What's the name of that ****ed up badass girl from Serenity? That's the vibe I'm getting from Wanda Maximoff. Shea gonna be a bad as a for sure.

But Hawkeye does have a costume, its a personalized SHIELD tactical uniform, SW does not. Anyway I'm not suggesting she should be wearing the comic book uniform but she does deserve better then a red jacket.
