Age of Ultron The Official Scarlet Witch Thread - Part 2

I wonder if the twins are in Civil War. I wanna see more Wanda. She's wandaful.

Love everything we have seen so far of SW..

which of the future film is a best bet for SW appearance?

I'd say either CA: Civil War, though it'd be a smaller role, or Doctor Strange as he is involved in the more mystical/magical side of the MCU. And before any fanboy tries to jump down my throat saying that Wanda's powers aren't magic based, as it's "probability manipulation/reality warping" in the comics, this is kind of the first time a power like this has been shown in the MCU and would definitely fit best in Doctor Strange's film/world.

No one needs to jump on you bc Wanda has history with Strange. Her appearing in his film wouldn't seem all that odd

I noticed on the Doctor Strange board and other forums online that people get angry when people say her powers are magic based. I understand why but it's a rather hard mutation/mutant power to explain without mentioning or comparing it to magic. Also, people don't enjoy the whole chaos magic aspect/what Bendis did with her in Disassembled/House of M.

I'd like her to learn from him. Student sort of thing.

Depending on how powerful she is, they can allude to Dissambled in the MCU with Strange taken an interest in her bc he sees the potential for her to be a threat without proper training. Her powers may not be magic based but that doesn't mean she can't benefit from magic training and using that to use those skills to channel her powers in a more controlled way. I mean Magik in Xmen is a skilled sorceress who trains with Strange and her powers have absolutely nothing to do with magic words either. People need to get over it

We need to see more promotional material with her and QS. All we've gotten so far is the Empire cover and being far back in the official poster.

We've hardly seen any of Quicksilver in particular. That fan art of the 2 was so good. Marvel should make use of stuff like that.

She's hot.

Can't wait to see Scarlet Witch on the big screen!

I hope the Twins will be used in Phase 3, and not pull a Hawkeye and disappear after AOU.

whats that supposed to mean? Hawkeye himself just got confirmed for Civil War

I meant Hawkeye pretty much disappeared in Phase 2 except for AOU. I don't want the same thing to happen to SW and QS.

^
Yeah, I would like to see the twins in future films especially since they're going to be bad guys throughout AOU. The more characters that are added in the universe, the harder it becomes to balance out screen time.

I don't think the Twins will be bad guys for too long.

Me either & I'm absolutely sure they'll make a lot of appearances within the MCU. Given what we've seen from the trailers thus far, I think they'll receive a warm reaction from fans & the general audience alike.

Well, then those angry people are dummies! :oldrazz: Her powers are magic based, and have been since the 70's.

I suspect people just haven't read that much of her. That, or they don't want another character stealing Strange's thunder (Feige is in this camp, it seems).

Clint wasn't slighted in Phase 2. Nobody cameo'd for IM3, they already had Cap for TDW, GOTG was obviously a no-go, and he couldn't in TWS for schedule reasons (IIRC he had a part written in).

Scarlet Witch is possibly involved in a Doctor Strange sequel:

Apparently the plan is that during Infinity War, Strange will meet Scarlet Witch, and from there Marvel will incorporate her into the Doctor Strange franchise in future sequels as Strange's apprentice so they have something for her to do. (I guess Quicksilver will be with Captain America)

I think if that's true the twins need to be together, I dunno maybe it's me but it would be cool if QS got incorporated as well.

[BLACKOUT]But he could be dead so...[/BLACKOUT]

The casting rumors originated on Reddit so I'll take all that with a huge truckload of salt.

But it's a great for Scarlet Witch and it wouldn't surprise me if she even had a small role in the first movie.

Bruce was at the end of IM3 is that counts.

Yeah, I suspect Strange is gonna start attempting to train all "magic" based characters to prepare for the upcoming Thanos issue.

I wouldn't mind seeing SW within the Doctor Strange movies. I don't feel that she & Quicksilver absolutely have to be together any time one or the other makes an appearance.

Scarlet Witch has been on the Avengers without Quicksilver several times. Vision basically replaced Pietro as her 'other'.
