I haven't articulated yet how much I loved Sophie Turner's portrayal of Jean Grey.
I loved how stoic, strong and self-determined she came across. Afraid to use her powers and hurt someone but at the same time in control.
Definitely my favorite female comic book character film adaptations ever!
"X-Men: Apocalypse" really solved her arc from all previous movies beautifully! Jean is now the most interestingly developed chacter of the entire movie franchise for me. From being a victim of Xavier's manipulation to a self-determined powerful young woman!
Actually kind of brilliant how subtle her arc developed throughout the entire franchise in 16 years (Wolverine is changing the demise of the women he loves in "Days of Future Past" when he gives Xavier his memories from the future and we see the consequence of that in "X-Men: Apocalpyse"!)
Kudos to you, Bryan Singer!
...
wished they would have done the same with Storm!
