Just trying to throw more names on the chopping block.

IMO Adam Gregory would be perfect for Superboy (Kon-El).

I really want to see more of Manganiello in True Blood, because he hasn't really impressed me at all so far. I want to like him for Superman, but so far, meh.
I have the feeling that it will be him
so?Showtime already said it will not be Padalecki.
That nose just kills me. I feel like it's piercing my lifesource.
^Original choice but he is only 5'11.
... besides with good camera angles he can definitely look taller
Really? It's not about someone looking taller. It's about someone having a large imposing physical stature in the first place. I do apologize for being redundant, but the person playing Superman should be larger than me, not smaller than me. I am 6'1" and 220 lbs. I know some don't give much thought to what the actor looks like when he is making appearances to promote the movie, but if I had a 5'11" guy walk up to me that was playing Superman I think I would burst out laughing. It just doesn't work for me.

I always thought J Nolan looks like Sam Worthington a bit.
Ya know I was thinking, what if these sources have it slightly backwards & Jonah Nolan wasn't up for directing Superman, but actually playing Superman. He's 6'2 BTW
True he's 5'10 but people are still talking about Bomer, and he has other issues besides height.
Dean Cain is 6ft tall.
In some scenes in Lois and Clark (If Hatcher was wearing heels) Lois was as tall as Superman. There were bit part characters that towered over Superman.
Superman needs to be tall.. Naturally tall. No lifts. no camera tricks.
I remember Zano from Final Destination 3.
Hes the guy that had his small intestines sucked out of his ass in a public pool.
