Hello to everyone! I am new on this forum despite i followed it for years, i'm a big superman fan from Spain (yes, that's why my english is so bad, sorry for that), I'm really surprised by the awesome fan art you guys are doing here, really great level. A few days ago I was testing some video editing software and I made a teaser for Man Of Steel, I have no idea of making movies or put effets, it was just for fun, so i want to share with you, hope you enjoy.

That's the main debate among superman fans, if weather or not they would rather have Bryan Singer's Superman Returns or in fact if Tim Burton's whacky Superman Lives would have indeed been a better movie than Singer's Superman. On one hand, the cast is strange / silly. Tim Allen as Brainiac ? Nic Cage as Superman?!? On the other hand, at least there was three gaurenteed action sequences (Superman vs. Doomsday, Superman vs. a giant spider, and finally Superman vs. Lexiac - The combo of Lex Luthor and Brainiac) . Some would argue that it would have been a better popcorn movie than Superman picking up a giant rock as a climax and pushing it into space and a stupid kid....

There may not have been any punch ups, but there was more action than just lifting a rock in the air. The plane scene, the machine gun scene, saving all those people after the earthquake and then catching the Daily Planet globe...

I would take all of that over a giant mechanical spider fight ANY DAY.

here's a quickie...just to see how Cavill would look with his current physique

Great idea, great drawing and it proves my point. Cavill's forearms and wrists are a bit to slim to really pull it off. With more weights he can build up his shoulders, arms and chest (which is needed), but adding to the forearms is tough and wrists is next too impossible. The legs are fine, part of Routh's problem was that his legs were too big compared to his upper body, there's no need for Superman to be a quadzilla.

The drawing also shows if Cavill keeps working out and they use the suit from the comics, we could have a Superman that looks like Superman.

This is terrific - I like the TDK-style title text.

Nice artwork, but too "dark" IMO. I would've just kept the background in the gritty texture and have the emblem be really clean and crisp as to emphasize the contrast between Superman and everything else.
