Guys. Take a moment to reflect on this photo, will ya...

This suit looks absolutely STUNNING! This is the first time I can honestly say that I think Superman looks downright badass!

Put this guy, in THIS suit, alongside Bales Batman, and he wouldn't fall behind! Whereas if you put in Reeves Superman suit, or the Returns one for that matter, it would!

This suit is a thing of beauty. They've managed to make this thing look God-like, with a small alien-touch to it. It's anything but cheesy. The symbol screams power. Cavill has the most awesome built for superman, ever. He looks pretty damn powerful overall.

If you care to keep bringing out your superman suit manips, then go right ahead. But nothing you do will make one bit of difference. The suit is what it is. I'd almost call it perfect. With all due respect for you guys "manipping", and for your talent of doing so, I gotta say. You only make this official suit look so much more cool.

Many of You are way too stuck on the way things USED to be - Instead of accepting the way things are gonna be. And I think that when we see this guy in costume within the movie/trailer(s), people are gonna be screaming out BLEEPING COOL! (if not already).

Hey guys, don't know if anyone ever posts sculpts here, but here's one I'm working on of Cavill. Still trying to figure out the likeness obviously...

The face looks fantastic already. I agree on not colouring it, as it looks fine the way it is. Although, like many others I'm sure, I'd be interested in seeing what it looks like in the suit's original colours.
Also, if you indeed have a cast, and decide to start shipping these, SIGN ME UP!

I thought I liked the costume before, but seeing animated looks THAT much cooler. Love it. Can't wait for this movie, and I'm a Batman kinda guy lol.

If anyone has been following the new 52 JL or Action Comics, I sure hope the portray Superman the way he is being written in the comics now.

Wow, thanks. The color of blue looks a little off to me, and I have him looking up a bit more, but otherwise it's pretty good.

I can see now I probably need to make the shield a bit smaller too...

Agreed. I really like this tougher, more rebellious attitude he's got. Kind of reminds me a bit of the George Reeves Superman, who didn't mind bullying or roughing up the bad guys now and then.

Hopefully the new Superman will have at least a little of that new attitude.

Well since we got a good look at the suit I've been working on the CAW again here's a few early shots, I've updated the "S" again, still not to happy with it tho :S

I was going to show a step by step to the end result for the suit, but I forgot and just did it lol, so here's what I had a few days ago, this is "NOT" the end result tho, hope you guys like it.

...........oh and even tho I'm not a big fan of the new suit.......I had to make this

Okay, I can't even fathom the greatness of this lol
This goes beyond standard art to be able to capture dimensions, the human body, and then the Superman-ly qualities like this in a 3D piece, it's raw talent.

Phenomenal man.

Agreed. And everyone talks about the trunks, but to me it's the big yellow belt that really stands out and looks outdated in that drawing.

Just wow! Now that is something I'd pay good money for! I much prefer the colored version, it just pops realism!

The shield is just fine, I personally wouldn't mess with it.

Sorry, looks like crap colored. Makes it look cheap and actionman-like. The natural sculpted look gave it the classy epicness which was all it needed.
IF you had to color it it should be subdued watercolors.

Sorry, but I still don't like the new suit. The classic is still the only one that says Superman to me. Nice edit, though.

He does look more badass and manly in the bottom version. Might be the colors and the hue though.

Yeah, I think it's just the coloring.

Plus, the red of the real suit is much brighter, and the blue really don't look quite like that.

Not sure why the manip gave him an afro, either. Cavill's hair is slicked back, not poofy.

I was experimenting with some I downloaded for GIMP, and I used them on Hobo's manip. I figured I'd post the results.
