You know, thinking about this a little, I don't care that much if Morrison wants to explore the whole liberal everyman aspect of Superman. It's something that really hasn't been explored very much and very well. So, as long as it's not overly done (which I doubt Morrison will do, based on his other works) I don't have an issue with it.
I think the thing that I'm somewhat worried about is the idea of people not trusting Superman (which is mentioned on the solicit for AC, and WW implied it somewhat for her). I really hope the whole general acceptance of superheroes isn't something that they move away from. Not only does it make a great contrast to the MU's lack of trust, I feel like it almost makes it unique, ironically enough, considering how the whole idea of fearing and not accepting superheroes has become somewhat tired and almost self-parodying.
