A lot heavy handed

it was just the towns angry drunk who temporarily got super powers from a piece of new krypton that came to earth as a meteorite
Who did he fight? Anyone of note, or just kind of a general enemy that popped up?
In what sense do you mean he wrote Dick as Bruce?
It was HULK HOGAN HE FOUGHT AND IT WAS GLORIUS.JMS decided to create a new kryptonite that effects humans, not kryptonians. Some woman made Hulk Hogan-look alike go hulk-smash on Superman for reasons yet unknown.
Oh, I see. Well, that sounds pretty dumbDick just sounded way too rude towards Superman and lacked believe. You'd think Dick Grayson would support Superman his own Uncle (it's true!) even how drastic the decision seems. It just seemed JMS wanted Bruce Wayne to be there, so he made Superman say "youve gotten darker since you departed with Bruce" and stuff.
Ugh, I'm not caring much for this writing the DCU as if it's the MU at all.Still the Grounded story arc seems to be heading in a good direction. People are pessimistic and whiny towards Superman because he's attracting villains/chaos to the states he goes, and Batman is worried what is happening and is probably the one who asks Diana to go down and talk to him.
My only problem with Grounded is does JMS know that all black people are not bad people or just sports players? I mean once again in this issue Superman is lecturing another black man for doing something wrong. I mean seriously there are plenty of us who are not the stereotype black male. I mean come on now why cant he make the person white or Asian or Hispanic why do they always have to be black.
Understood but it hows he shows us that makes me mad. For exampleto be fair, superman has lectured EVERYONE for doing things wrong during this arc.....including extra terrestrial aliens, so....
I'm literally still laughing at this.Okay so this week's issue had Superman tell Batman -- Batman -- that he doesn't deal enough with street-level crime. He specifically cites thugs with guns and the mafia as examples.

This is ****ing worse than a woman telling Superman to cure cancer.

He specifically says to Dick that if only someone had been there for him and for Bruce, the armed thugs and the mafias wouldn't have gotten their parents. Yuh huh, good point Superman. If only someone were out there with the common people every single night helping to prevent the thugs and the gangs from making more orphans like Batman and Robin. What a world that would be, right?
