Sequels The Official The Lizard in Spider-Man 4 thread!

His bodily product would be half human and half lizard.

That's gotta be some smell...

Ewwww, hybrid droppings! Spider-Man would have to follow the trail. That would make for a crazy sm-4 sequence!

:woot:

This is defenitley what the Lizard should look like in Spidey4!:spidey:

agreed!:yay:

Black pants would work. Or maybe no pants at all, let him transform while Connors is on the toilet. But I really like that design of The Lizard.
:oldrazz:

Yeah, the purple pants have to go for a movie version. The only reason they're used in the comic is that purple and green had good color contrast in the old comic book printing process.

Lizzy doesn't have to be green either since lizards come in all kinds of colors.

The lab coat is fine when he first transforms, but after he's been the Lizard for a while it would make sense for him to tear it off while running around in the sewers. He should keep his pants on though.

I think the Lizard defenitley has to be green. It would be deviating too far from the Comics if He wasn't. Sure He was purple in the USM Comics. But the USM Comics isn't what the Films are based off of (I'm so glad they are not). Keep the Lizard green.

I would like Lizard to be green, but I'd have no problem with a more naturalistic brownish-green found in most lizards. But I wouldn't want him to be anywhere outside of the green-brown spectrum... no blues, yellows, purples, or reds, thank you.

And his pants should be brown. Khakis perhaps. Not purple. Purple would be ridiculous. Where on Earth would a man find a pair of purple pants? Why would he wear purple pants? It is ridiculous both in the logistical and aesthetic sense.

Although... if he's wearing brown pants, they should probably stick to green skin. Having pants and skin of similar color might be a little odd.

And lab coat is an absolute must, though methinks it should probably come off at some point in the movie (especially if his transition being completely engulfed by the Lizard personality is gradual, in which case the lab coat coming off would sort of be a symbol for going over completely to the reptilian, bestial side).

I really want a vicious, violent and nasty Lizard. I don't want him to talk, but just be this savage reptile. I love the way Todd Mcfarlene drew him. I want a Lizard like this....

To help with the concept of a non-green Lizard, here's a couple pics of some different colored lizard creatures:

Now I'd prefer green myself as well, but there might be less comparisons to Hulk if the Lizard is some other color than green.

I still say that The Lizard should be the color He was in the Comics. He's meant to be that way and He always has.

I'd prefer a grey Lizard. Black ripped pants and shirt, and a dirty stained white lab coat. To sometimes give the look of a green Lizard, film some scenes with a greenish-tan tint.

I think he should be Green since there taking a comic character and putting him in a movie, just because it's a movie does not mean he can have a different color.:cwink:

Somehow I don't see the movie version of connors wearing bright purple pants.

And I didn't see the movie version of the Sandman wearing a corny black-and-green striped sweater...oh wait...I did.

Exactly, I mean staying true to the Comics is a great thing and if they make the Lizard green in Spide4, then that would be staying true to the Comics.

If they kept Sandman's design true to the comic's, then they certainley can do the same for the Lizard.

I don't see what's wrong with making him green-ish. Sort of a yellow-ish brown-ish green. I mean, he should still be more on the green side than any actual lizards (which typical are not bright green)... I think it might behoove them to create a fictional species of lizard... one that has more a strong green color than most real lizards, and more a regenerative property than most lizards... I think that's important, because the regenerative property seems to be more related to salamanders than to lizards.

Well green is a big part of the Lizards look. I think they should keep it and make very little modifications if any if they have to, because green has been the Lizards color for over 40 years.
