I think it's easy to findanti-climatic if you knew it was coming.Sirius's death
No difference. I knew it was coming but how they shot it made it anticlimatic.

Really? That is so odd for such an important scene. I mean, its not like Priori Incantem where even though confusing isn't really of much importance. The prophecy is the focal point of the entire plot. How can they not explain it?

I can see why they left it out. Sure, it is confusing as hell to anyone who hasn't read the book...but it isn't the most important thing on Earth. The prophecy on the other hand...it is literally the focal point of the entire plot. It is why Harry is having dreams. It is why he is led to the Ministry. It is why he must fight Voldemort. It is why Dumbledore pretty much ignores him. Its just so odd to cut that.
Considering that in the GOF movie , Prof. Moody was featured prominently i'd say Harry wouldn't be that dumb to go with a bunch of strange wizards.
Moody was with them so it wasn't like Harry just went with strange people who he never met.
It was anti climatic in the book as well. So I think it was going to be so anyway.
Also, the lack of Lily in Snape's remember was quite dissapointing too.
To be honest, I hated the prophecy. It felt very cliche and unoriginal, but perhaps we should have seen it coming. Writers love the old prophecy plot device.
That's one of the reasons why I hate prophecies on general principle - prophecies have been flogged to death. When almost every major story revolves around a prophecy and a chosen one, it loses its originality and appeal.
he prolly figured, " what`re the odds of that happenning again?"Except that in GOF it wasn't actually Professor Moody, it was Barty Crouch Jr. taking Polyjuice Potion to turn into Professor Moody. The only time he ever met the real Professor Moody was when they found him in the trunk.
I always thought Neville was.Completely agree. It's so cliched, I get tired of stupid prophecies as well. Oh, and also being the one. Neo is "The One", Anakin is "The Chosen One", now Harry too.
it would have been Neville if Voldemort decided that he was more of a threat than Harry was/would be when he decided whom to kill.I always thought Neville was.
He WAS the one who found the prophecy.

If I ever succeed as a writer, look for this line: "This isn't a prophecy thing, is it?"Completely agree. It's so cliched, I get tired of stupid prophecies as well. Oh, and also being the one. Neo is "The One", Anakin is "The Chosen One", now Harry too.
