Yes that should be pretty funny. Yet epic at the same time.At least they showed Kreacher. I can't wait for the house-elf invasion.

I was under the impression Rowling had everything planned out since she started writing the series. So, yes, I would say it would have been important then.
And my impression was right.
spccbflo asks: Everything that happens has a meaning, sometimes in a later book. Do you have everything planned out in your head, or do you tie things in as you go?
jkrowling_bn: Yes, it's all planned out, but I still give myself room to have some fun if a good idea
jkrowling_bn: arrives while I'm writing

AND another:
Fry: Is it really true that you've got it [the end of the story] all planned out?
Rowling: Yes, I do know what's going to happen in the end. And occasionally I get cold shivers when someone guesses at something that's very close, and then I panic and I think "Oh, is it very obvious?" and then someone says something that's so off the wall that I think "No, it's clearly not that obvious!"

that was also 2005 ....![]()
your bi+(hing this much over green eyes.........................................
seriously....
No I'm *****ing about your continual insistence that you know what you're talking about. I couldn't care less about the eyes. And, quite frankly, you don't. Also, way to abandon out argument.![]()
umm dude she had hardly any clue how she was gonna tie things up in deathly hallows... she had a very hard time writing it. so main story lay out .. possibly.. but depth? and everything ?no
Or, you know, tedious meaning tedious? As in writing 600 pages tedious?and tedious would mean she had to think and come up with thingsso ya im sure the story was planned out, but a little thing like green eyes meaning something.. most likely not.
plus when writting the first book she never could have imagined the success... and the first movie was not made in 2005... so movie harry hasn't had green eyes for a long time
He speaks the truth...whoever disagrees is smoking the whacky tobaccyeither way man... she has say of what she deems important for the movies... so if she doesnt deem it important, whether you think it is or not, it's her call
Rowling knows and allows or denys what goes into these movies. She is a big contributor.
She specifically made Kreacher be in this for his importance in book 7.

I find it cute for you to be pointing this out after you have hurled speculation after speculation on what you think the woman is going through. For instance:either way man... she has say of what she deems important for the movies... so if she doesnt deem it important, whether you think it is or not, it's her call
she had hardly any clue how she was gonna tie things up in deathly hallows... she had a very hard time writing it. so main story lay out .. possibly.. but depth? and everything ? no
EXACTLY! She had the underlying story grasped through her head. This means it's pointless to doubt whether she knew the significance of the eyes would play a part by the time she made the fourth book. She knew she would eventually have to kill or give Snape a reprieve. So by the time the first movie was made she knew that the eyes would have to play a part in the movie (IF she was going to kill Snape). Did the eyes play a part in the movies? No. Did she know it would have been important? Yes, if she had decided to kill off Snape. This is what I'm trying to get through this boy's head. He thinks Rowling realized the eyes would have been important AFTER the first movie:As for any book series. An auther has and idea or a begining and an end. The rest in between is changible in order to get to the very end. No author has a whole book series figured out before the even write another book to the series. The have general ideas but no actual event by event telling.
duh, im talking about continuity... when the first movie was made it prob wasnt a big deal if he had green eyes or not... plus you dont want him looking like jessica alba did in F4:ROTSS

Look back through the posts, NOBODY ever denied what you're saying. This is the truth. I remember her saying that part of thedeal was that she be able to have input on what was in the films and so forth. That was part of the contract she signed with WB.
