I imagined more for Dumbledore's Army to do -- the Brain Room etc -- more also from the Order, Tonks appears for all of... two seconds?

Also there was apparently a more complex duel between Bellatrix and Sirius before she strikes with the Killing Curse. I would loved to have seen that. :csad:

I would've liked it to be more brutal. If I remember correctly, in the book, Neville, ROn, Hermione, and Luna get their asses kicked by the Death Eaters. Which makes sense being as they are essentially children fighting the most deadly wizards in the world. In the movie the held their own way too well.

I liked it that way. Instead of the death eaters just crushing the kids like ants, they toy with them.

damn matt, long time no see... I can't wait to see you criticize the next movie.

Did anyone else think Natalia Tena (Tonks) was pretty hot in the movie?

Most definitely.

Don't call me Nymphadora!

Hopefully with some cleavage. Wow she's a big girl.

Oldman was better in this film but his death wasn't as dramatic as it could have been. he should have been in GoF. No, his face on a burning log doesn't count. And speaking of that, I'm glad people's faces are now shown in the actual fire and not the stupid logs like in GoF.

the Department of Mysteries Battle was awesome, it was far better than I imagined.

I actually like it too. Especially considering that those kids are really inexperienced in fighting Death Eaters. I cant wait to see what they do with the battle from the other books.

She's outta yer league kid. She likes men with chest hair.

Umbridge reminds me of my highschool principal. She was cheery like that, to the point of nauseation. Never used an Unforgivable Curse or hit a student, though her mullet was unforgiveable enough.

It would be one thing if they actually toyed with them. Instead they let a bunch of kids kick their asses.

Heh, did you read my review? I was actually very kind to the movie. I am simply not going to ignore blaring flaws because its based on a book I like.

So what is the Nymphadora thing about anyway?

It looked like Tonks was checking Harry out during the broom flight.

And that music video is awesome.

HAHA...is that not one of the funniest parodies ever?:woot:

Tonks looks at Harry like that in HBP as well. She just has a ditzy personality...note the bublegum pink hair and her knocking over the umbrella stand.

She should have Mrs. Robinson-ed Harry one time before she died.

"Ms. Tonks, you're trying to seduce me."

"Well, my name IS Nymphadora...."

Information about the DVD:

"Last month at the US premiere of the film, Emerson and I asked director David Yates how many deleted scenes we could expect on DVD. His answer falls in line with an update at the British Board of Film Classification's website, which lists 10 minutes worth of deleted and extended scenes to be included on the DVD. Thanks to Leaky for this."

Is that footage supposed to be added into the film? Or viewed separately?

Total gross as of August 29, 2007:

$284,001,859 (domestic) + $612,200,000 (overseas) = $896,201,859 (worldwide)

By the time it officially closes, OOTP should narrowly beat out GOF as the second highest-grossing Potter film domestically. (I think $291-$295 million)
