I am cautiously optomistic.
My heart sank when I first saw it "they can't do that! holy ****!"
But then again, if we fanboys demand that our star character never changes, never evolves, never breaks with tradition then that character loses something. If he loses the possibility of something big and momentus like revealing his identity to the whole fricken world, then each issue becomes isolated from every other. That just creates a weak character and a weak comic.
Peter graduated high school, graduated college, got married, Aunt May found out his identity, it's all part of his growth and evolution as a character. While difficult to imagine for us now, having a public identity is just one more aspect of the character's growth. Assuming they don't do a ridiculous retcon (please no) then I think this will be an intersting change in the long run - even if it's difficult to accept now.
