Actually, that could be cool to a two part Days of The Future Past adaptation. You can use all the same actors from the original trilogy, but it doesn't have to be tied down to that continuity.

Knowing the WB they are probably thinking of other movies to get Singer to sign to before he gets back to Marvel to direct another X-Men movie. The WB seems hell bent on keeping Singer

The author’s description of what he wants to see in X-Men 4 makes me not want to see it. Of all the possible ideas for X-Men 4, and why the studio shouldn’t have made a prequel focusing on Wolverine’s origin, the only thing he can come up with is seeing how a devastated Wolverine handles the death of Jean Grey? I could not care less.

If Bryan does it, it would have a good balance about the character's screentime.

Something like X2, but hopefully not Wolverine centered.

Bryan can come with a good plot, so Im sure he would give to each x-men something to do, individually or in little teams, like X2.

If they adapt Days of future past,having gotten the X-Men God loves Man kill graphic novel for my birthday,they would most likely depict future with sentinles have taken over,surving mutants try to change history by switing a member with younger self,and
In past a group of mutants set out to kill a anti mutant politican.Besides those basic things things can be worked out well.

Rogue could replace Kitty's place In storyline because while Anna Paquin's schedule would have to be worked around she may be more willing to come back than Ellen Page.
Anna has made comments since the Last Stand being open to playing Rogue again.It's unknow If the opotion has expired If Ellen Is willing to play Kitty again.I liked Ellen as Kitty so I am not putting her down.

If Halle Berry Insists on same salary as Hugh jackman I could see her not being used.

If Beast Is In this Kelsey Grammer may not want to go through all the makeup again If his opotion has expired.

Of course The Kitty and beast Issues could be moot If Last Stand Is being Reconned out of cannon.

They can write out Beast easily because he would be in Washington due to his promotion at the end of X3. If they established that Charles & or Scott or both returned to the Mansion then Storm could eventually retire or something happens & she decides to go home with Scott & Logan or whoever is in charge training a new team of Mutants

I'm sure I saw an interview somewhere where Anna Paquin said she'd be up for coming back as Rogue so long as she actually got some action scenes or something like that.

I do think you're right about Halle Berry. Also, they don't need to necessarily make Storm as much of a focus as they did in TLS. A common complaint about X3 is that Wolverine and Storm hogged the limelight whilst everyone else got shafted. In X4, they could give Storm a little less screentime but make the time she has important which would satisfy Halle Berry and give other characters time to shine.

Yes, i agree. Indeed i wants Cyclops to be the leader with Iceman, Kitty (and Lockhead), Colossus, Angel and maybe Nightcrawler. Wolverine must have a minor role. And Storm have a small role like Rogue.

A cameo for Beast will be good.

Halle had been petitioning fans to write in for an X4. She'd easily be back if they asked her.

If X-Men First Class is a hit I would find it hard to believe they would go forward with X-Men 4, however if they do I hope they can find a way to work around Anna Paquin's schedule better then they did with the last film and hopefully retcon her character taking the cure and finally make Rogue the badass she was in the comics. And since they seem to be ignoring XO: Wolverine hopefully they can bring in Gambit.

They can redeem X3 and can easily bring back Scott and Jean. Maybe even have the Blue and Gold teams.

We already know the cure is not permanent as Magneto's powers were returning so Rogue could return. It would be great if they brought in Gambit (Taylor Kitcsch) since they are already disregarding elements of Wolverine from Cannon.

Sinister could have found Scott and held him in a location shielded from Cerebro (possible, since Magneto's helmet also masks from Cerebro)

The resurrected pheonix could be a different Jean. Much like the comics, the real jean could still be in a cocoon in the lake. And with the ability to manipulate molecules, she could have easily manipulated a clone of her body.

Maybe Sinister has them both? That he, too, was drawn to Alkali by the rise of the PHoenix. Found Scott mid-kiss. Attacked Phoenix and took Scott and the real Jean.

I would love to see James Marsden play a significant Cyclops role in the next film. Now that Logan has his own franchise, he doesn't need such a large role in the ensemble. With Scott and Jean alive, it could lead to Cable and Days of Futures Past for X5.

I don't think they ignore X-Men: TLS, neither Wolverine (they ignore Deadpool and Emma from this one).

They can bring back:
- Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) in a small role or minor;
- Cyclops (James Marsden) as the leader and main character;
- Storm (Halle Berry) in a minor role;
- Iceman (Shawn Ashmore);
- Kitty (i hope Ellen Page) with Lockhead made in CGI;
- Colossus (Daniel Cudmore with more lines !);
- Angel (Ben Foster with more lines !);
- Rogue (Anna Paquin) in a minor role;
- Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming, they can explain he was in mission during X3 because i simple ignore the game's explanation ).

They can bring also Sigourney Weaver as Emma Frost who became the new "Professor X" of the school (like in the comics).

Villain? No to Sinester to me. I want Trask (played again by Bill Duke?) creating the Sentinels. This will make back also Beast (Kelsey Grammar) in a few scenes.

The X4 news isn't surprising. We've known about it since last year but I'm glad that it's moving forward.

I'm more curious about who wrote the completed treatment that was recently turned in...?
