How does Chuck get crippled?

Magneto goes apes**t on Russians & Americans in the end of the movie, by trying to send the missiles on their ships & destroy them. Moira is trying to stop Eric, by shooting at him from the pistol, but Eric reflects her bullets & one of the bullets goes into Charles' spine.

Why is it always the black person who dies in movies? Along those lines, I have a question. How does Darwin die? And do any other good mutants die besides the black one? :o

That's why I like the new Batman movies, Morgan Freeman's character has not died...yet :csad:

Rhodey hasn't died in the Iron Man movies yet either. granted, he's such a huge character in the mythos that it's pretty certain he will never die.

Shaw gets some kind of glowing energy inside Darwin & he died later, cause he couldn't absorb the power of that energy. No, the only mutant who dies in this movie is Darwin.

Thanks.

Does Charles and Emma have a telepathic battle and if so was it average or pretty damn cool?
They do have some, but they're kinda short. Nothing special or epic. Emma blocks Charles like 2 times, but he defeats her after Eric disabled Emma's Diamond form.

Thanks. Dang, that sucks. I could see if there were other mutants that died, but the black mutant's the ONLY one? They could've just let them all survive then. I bet his death doesn't even have a huge impact on the story, does it?

His death = big impact on the team. It made them worried & scared of stuff & their powers. Xavier & Eric are taking things in control & start to teach everyone to control their powers at Charles' mansion.

Is cerebro In the mansion?
Is the second cameo Jennifer Lawrence as mystique turning Into
Rebecca Romijn?
Does Shaw survive?
Does Xavier start school at his mansion at end of the film?
Is shot In trailer of Magneto In more familar outfit him rescuring
Emma Frost from CIA custody?
Does Mystique show any Romantic Intrest In Magneto?
Are the credits all at end of film

Oh, what the hell...

Do we see Magneto in full red costume?

Xavier/Magneto fistfight still in?

racial sensitivities aside...
the only character
to die is the one who's power is to be practically impossible to kill
???

and ok, one question
what's Havok's connection to Scott?

that's one of my main concerns about this film, so a positive answer would help my anticipation greatly

1) Magneto in full red costume - check!
2) There was a fight between them, that occurred in the finale. So, if you meant that one, then - yes.

Does the Hellfire Club survive to pose a threat in future films?

Didn't Singer want to involve the Hellfire Club as part of his Phoenix storyline?

JNX & BoredGuy:

1) Nothing is said about
Summers family connection, but Cyke has a cameo in the movie. Blink & you'll miss it.

2) Hellfire Club is
playing some huge role in the beginning of the movie, but by the end of it the team is pretty much disassembled & now they're Magneto's goons
. Dunno about the Phoenix storyline, man.

thanks.

In regards to the Hellfire Club members becoming part of Magneto's team. I could see how they work with/under Magneto for awhile but always have their own agenda. later, they try to reform the Hellfire Club, and a certain fiery red head is the key that they seek........at least that's my hope for the future.....lol

Also, I read that there is a Jackman Wolverine cameo. But aside from that, are there any "direct" connections, ties, or nods to the prior films?

Could you say that this film stands on its own and could very well be used to reboot the whole X-men movie franchise, if that's what they wanted to do?

We're a week away/ Ya'll seriously can't just wait to enjoy the film?

thanks.

Yes. Sure, there are nods & stuff to the old movies (X-Men I & X2 directly), but it can be taken as both as a brand new part of the rich franchise & as a fresh reboot as well.

Well, this is the review thread, not the spoil the whole film thread. . .

Coming Soon
Fans of the comics may be confused by how disparate elements from the books have been tossed together, but fans of the movies should appreciate how Matthew Vaughn has established characters they love in a unique setting with a strong cast and set pieces just as big and impressive as the other movies. It may not quite reach the level of perfection of "X2," but it does a far better job introducing the characters than Singer did in his first movie, and that alone is something worth commending.
