He gave it a 4.5 but yet the overall score went down from 8.1 to 8. What is going on over at rotten tomatoes? They need to fix that.

He's a total quote ****e, but he's a quote ****e with good taste, imo. I tend to agree with him on the indies and foreign films just as much as I do on the blockbusters. He and James Berardinelli are probably the two critics I most consistently agree with.

I agree, ignoring the buffon is the best to do.
This is why I actually prefer Metacritic, they don't pay attention to wannabes like this guy.

Well, it is going to get some negative reviews, all films do. That Quickflix guy is obviously seeking internet attention though, and it's a shame he takes away credibility by doing that.

I think a lot of reviewers love the spirit/intentions of this film, even where they might see a few flaws or things they didn't like. I mean, the humour and cameos might not be to everyone's taste (they are more for the mainstream than the nerds) because you might feel they take you out of the film.

But now Vaughn has established this new world, it should mean the next film rises even higher because he has the 'scene-setting' out of the way.
