The only place in the movie where it's ok (in fact, even good) to show Batman killing and firing guns is in the Knightmare. It's showing the worst possible future so it makes sense to show that even Batman is corrupted.

But he's not corrupted, he's behaving in exactly the same way.

Yeah I was fine with him firing guns in the nightmare.

You know those two clips of them that have been released so far? The one at the party and the confrontation where Clark says 'The Bat is dead'? That's the extent of their interaction prior to the fight. I **** you not.

Yeah, and in theory it makes sense for the character. Except in context it feels like the only emotion we get out of these three is sorrow, rage and/or glee of battle. [BLACKOUT]Bats seems happy as **** when he beat the piss out of Supes too with all the smiling.[/BLACKOUT]

Which didn't make sense to me. I may have missed something, because I did tune out a bit during some of the "heavy talky yet not much developing" sequences... But when did Bats think Supes and Wondy had anything to do with each other?

Didn't make sense since Bruce and Diana had two interactions before that scene while Clark and Diana had zero

That would've made sense. Take out the Lois bullet crap and put that in there

Since Snyder will most likely be retained for JL, my expectations for that film are on the floor.

Honestly, yeah. My friend loved it too. I like the concept of a Bruce Wayne who has seen too much, failed too much, lost too much and is simply just not the same guy . You can see that there's still good in him, obviously, but he is more conflicted than ever. I like that. Makes him feel more human to me. Humans do stupid *****.

But again, that's up to personal preference. I really like my Batman a little bit psychotic. That's why, even though i had many problems with the movie, i'm still happy to see this version brought to the big screen. Because this version actually exists in the comics. It's just not as popular.

This Bat-vigilante is like a one man reign of terror.

I would love to see a Batfleck solo film as quick as possible. There's so much potential for more controversial candy. He can spit in Joker's face next time. Imagine the complains.

I guess that is one of the main reasons the film seems to be polarizing viewers. Not everyone wants one of their heroes to be a psychotic sick bastard. It seems a strange take on the character for what is intended to be a big mainstream movie. Doing a smaller "elsewhere" movie that features that kind of Batman would seems more appropriate to me.

But it's not that simple. For all we know, Batman caught the Joker years ago, before he became bitter with time. That's basically what the movie portrays... a Batman who's gotten more cruel. Thus, he wasn't as cruel when he last faced the Joker.

These things need time to sink in. If you want something different to be accepted you gotta presented to the public. Maybe in time they will learn to understand and accept a less goody-goody version of Batman.

The unwillingness to accept change is one of the reasons why we have so many boring movies. Studios just don't wanna risk offering something less common to the masses, so what we end up getting is more of the same, over, and over, and over again. You just can't be surprised nowadays because you know that studios won't allow their characters to go certain places.

I love the fact Batman was so close to kill Superman. Maybe that's what draws me a little bit more to WB/DC than Marvel. Almost everytime i've seen something ballsy, controversial and unexpected in a cb movie it has been in a DC movie.

I think if i was a parent though i would prefer to take my kid to see The Avengers.

There was a kid behind me absolutely shocked. He screamed: "What? No way!". It's nice to see people being caught by surprise.

Doesn't matter, he slaughtered more than a few people this movie without hesitation. He shouldn't have a problem taking out the Joker next time he sees him. Not this Batman.
