Since there is a negative thread, I thought there should be a positive one for people who are looking forward to the movie.

Good idea.

I like Sienna Miller's tush very much. That is one of the high points of the movie for me.

Sienna Miller will be the only positive out of this.

Hot Woman + Tight Leather Body Suit = Win!

^LMAO

Denise Richards playing the obscure Phd. Bio Chemist. Greatest. Casting. Ever.

The other day I saw a commercial where Baroness sarcastically refers to the Joes as "real American heroes." That made my day.

Also, car hopping Snake Eyes = epic awesomes.:up:

The only good point is that after so many years a G.I.Joe is getting made, the bad point is that from the looks of it it might flop big time and a sequel will never happen unless an entire reboot can be done.

Another good point is that yeah the Baroness and Scarlett look hot, hopefully we get to see them get into a catfight.

You guys have your own thread. Stay out of this one, and we'll stay out of yours.

Very well. You gave Star Trek and Watchmen a 9/10, so I'll be cool about this.

Shadow-Guardian, YO JOE!!! I Thank You for starting this thread, as I cannot wait to see...G.I. Joe Rise Of Cobra! It is good to see someone feel Positive vibes from this film. I have wanted to see an adaption of G.I. Joe for years, after I first read Larry Hama's G.I. Joe A Real American Hero. I am very excited to see...Snake Eyes vs Storm Shadow, Scarlett Vs Destro, and Duke Vs Baroness, or any of the fights. I also pre-ordered the game, and will also be buying the...G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Complete Series when it becomes available after San Diego Comic Con.

Dennis Quaid as General Hawk could actually be a good casting. He seems to command respect and may pull off the role in style, I imagine.

Guys, please. This thread is for people who are looking forward to the film. Thats why there's already a negative one. Please post all your hate there. Gatchamanjp, you're welcome. I'm looking forward to the movie as well.

I have to admit I'm still positive about this movie and will go into it the same way as Transformers ROTF and expect nothing but pure spectacle and not worry about the story.

I will go absolutely nuts if they throw in a reference to porkchop sandwiches in the movie. I'm sure it'll be a hit, especially when the crowd went nuts at the "Juggernaut *****" in X3.

Moments like those may help. :(

I'm hyped. I recently got the new g.i. joe 1.1 dvd set and I'm watching tons of Joe lately. Couldn't be more excited about the film.

If there was a porkchop sandwich reference, I would cheer in the theater.

Also, if by some miracle they can put Roadblock in the sequel, there he needs to say the word "body massage." And maybe there can also be a reference to Shipwreck attending his estranged son's baseball game. :D

I've done complete 180 on this film. In the beginning I was on the "raped my childhood" bandwagon. Not on the scale where I needed to write anyone at Paramount hate mail or come shouting on a forum about it, but I was definitely dissapointed by what I had been seeing so far. Then I just said, screw it!

This summer has been an absolute bust in my opinion. TF2 sucked and there was nothing else I was pysched about seeing. The other day I saw ROC figures in Target and the nostalgia factor just kicked in. Then and there I decided to check the film snob in me at the door for the rest of the summer.

I don't care if Joe sucks. As a matter of fact , I'm almost positive it will. The key is, I dont care! I'm expecting nothing, so I can never be let down. I'm going in relatively spoiler free and totally care free. Even if it's the train wreck I'm expecting, i'll still have a good time. That's what a summer movie should be.

I'm on the same boat, I'm expecting major suck, but I'm still going to see it, and in a way still pretty pumped to see a JOE movie. :o

I like Marlon Wayans. Does that count as something positive?
