i gotta agree here. I've stayed out of this section of the board because i was enraged and disappointed by what we were beginning to see from this movie,and now that more is showing up, i guess you could agree that the hype build up if growing,but im still just not feeling excited by this movie

Anyway, I'm getting the same vibes from this that I got from X1. When I saw the trailer for that and how different it was from what I thought X-Men should be, I HATED it. When I actually saw the movie, I frakkin loved the thing. Go figure. I realize this movie does not have a Bryan Singer or a David Hayter, but oh well. I'm not expecting much.

The tide of opinion is not turning on this movie. Most people don't know about it and the ones that do think its a joke. However what most people don't consider about what is going to cause this movie to fail is not the shoddy adaptation with all the unnecessary changes and questionable cast. No. The thing that is gonna cause this movie to fail is the fact that it is not Dragon Ball Z. Whenever people I know see the trailer for this movie the most common reaction I get is "Why is Piccolo evil", "Are they gonna have Super Saiyans?" and "How can you make a Dragon Ball Z movie without Vegeta?". Um but yeah that's just my take on it. I can see that the people behind this movie obviously tried but they just missed the mark on a lot points and it's really gonna come back and bite FOX in the ass.

and as for those who dont know what this is ie: where's the super sayians?
what if fox made dragonball z first, right in the middle of the story, with no character backgrounds...they would be pleasing many fans worldwide, but would be missing a great opportunity to get new fans on board. the best way to tell ANY story is from the beginning.
