The show sounds like it will feature some pretty good wrestling.

Looking at the parts you bolded Kaleb
it could be a set up for Matt to swerve Jeff, and of course didn't they edit out his reveal that he burned Jeff's house down?

If that is the case , then Jeff will go down in the wwe as the most gullible wwe wrestler in history.

No that would be Shawn Michaels, who became Triple H's best friend again after Trips tried to end his career for several years.

Or Sting, who's choices for tag team partners have always royally sucked.:o

-- As announced Friday afternoon on WWE.com, Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore was released from his WWE contract. According to several sources, the feeling is that he showed up at last week's Raw taping looking terribly out of shape and Vince McMahon made the decision right then and there to cut him loose. He had just been hired back about a month ago.

McMahon is pretty big on first impressions. For instance, his first impression of Takeshi Morishima following a tryout match a year ago this week killed any possible interest in signing him. An issue of Power Slam noted the following: "August 19: Still on the warpath, Vince claims two more victims: he basically says Morishima looks like a giant, fat girl and that Laurinaitis was wasting his time by hyping such a s colourless and podgy wrestler. Vince also sagely notes that because fellow Japanese name Kenzo Suzuki tanked in WWE, obviously Morishima was likely to be a failure as well — solely on the basis of their shared ethnicity."

Reportedly, creative team wanted to get Eugene on television very quickly, so the fact that he was released after his first appearance adds further credence to the theory given. (source: www.f4wonline.com)

-- In the latest edition of Superstar to Superstar on WWE.com, Mickie James talks to Nancy O'Dell about her ALS charity, Betty's Battle (in honor of her late mother). Click here to read the interview. The Access Hollywood host will also take part in many of this weekend's SummerSlam festivities in Los Angeles, including SummerSlam Axxess where she will conduct an interview with John Cena.

-- WWE is running a house show at the Lucas County Arena in Toledo, Ohio on October 11th, 2009. Tickets go on sale August 29th, 2009 at 10 AM. omg this is why i hate wwe, they hire Eugene only to fire him

my question is...is there really something wrong with that?? how much rope are you supposed to give someone? this is just a general question for anyone

It actually isn't. I really can't blame Vince for that.

Throwing this out there: I think it's way too early for CM Punk vs Undertaker. I was kinda hoping that this would happen at Wrestlemania next year. Currently in my mind, there's three guys who legitimately be considered threats to Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak: CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, and John Morrison.

CM Punk, because he's on a roll right now as the number one heel.

If Dolph stays on the path he's on, he could be a serious threat. Same with Morrison.

I might throw Mike Knox's name in there but it's too soon. In fact, Knox should've been Undertaker's first opponent back.

The only threat I see to Undertaker would be DX. But that's never gunna happen.

Actually, it'd be great to see (super) Cena go up against Taker.

Yes, they edited out Matt taking credit for burning the house down. I think they're positioning Matt for Jeff's spot when Jeff takes his time off

Matt Hardy tweeted the following message to Jeff Hardy yesterday morning: "The time is near for the Hardy Empire to begin.. Starting with the Charismatic Enigma.. 8/25/09"

hmm

Only if taker brings back the ministry but he'll have to find a new virgin to sacrifice lol

Heh, the Black Wedding. Taker and his minions. Good times. That was a hell of a chair shot that Mideon took.

she was to the tv..i mean "wwe universe"

Nope....

on thinking back, one of my favorite moments in WWE was at Armageddon, the match between Vince and HHH where Steph "turns"....Vince looked like he was really in there swinging away...Hunter said in an interview he's still got a lump or two from that

About the Smackdown spoilers:

Matt's turning back into a face due to lack of legit faces on Smackdown. Taker is out, Morrison hasn't been built up yet and Rey (I would like to see Rey vs. Punk) is busy with Dolph Ziggler right now. And Jeff is leaving

If they were so short, they could've just brought HBK over to feud with Punk, but nooooooo...

It's hilarious because if it was RAW that was low on stars, they would've stole back Jericho or something.

Matt Hardy will be a good first victim for what should be a true title reign by CM Punk.

CM Punk vs. Undertaker for the World Title would be a good Survivor Series or Royal Rumble match.

The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho should happen at Wrestlemania 26.

Yeah I think its too soon for a punk vs taker fued, like most said here a fued so soon will kill any momentum that Punk has . I also would love to see a Chris Jericho vs taker at WM.
