I'm not usually one for the hokey stuff but that thing with Undertaker was really cool.

Also that Jeff / Punk match was good and the night was mostly solid

They're jumping right into it. Please let Punk look strong, please let Punk look strong...

I don't think so...they didn't even mention it. They just tried to forget about it.

And...Jesus. Great match tonight between Punk and Jeff. Edge of your seat moment at the end. Brilliant. And then the Dead Man? Can't wait for this.

Love to see Punk make 'Taker tap out at Breaking Point, then have them meet at Hell In A Cell.

Doesn't Taker chokeslamming Punk kind of kill Punk's heel heat? I just want Punk to look like a credible heel champion and actually go over on Taker.

Bryan Danielson has agreed in principle to a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Bryan has been an exemplary talent and a wonderful member of the Ring of Honor locker room and family since the inception of the company. We couldn’t be happier for Bryan and all of his successes, many of which Ring of Honor has been proud to witness first hand.

We congratulate Bryan on the beginning of this next journey in his brilliant career, and wish him all the best as he progresses. Many Ring of Honor fans refer to Bryan as the “best in the world” and we look forward to looking on in earnest as he shows everyone watching the wrestling world’s biggest stage just why that is.

Bryan will appear as scheduled at all of the September Ring of Honor events. Please join us in Philadelphia, Dayton, Chicago, Boston, and New York as we say thank you and farewell to a truly one-of-a-kind talent.

Say hello to Lance Uppercut!

i dont think so.... punk was just in a grueling match and "wasnt" aware of takers presence.... im hoping that like mentioned already that punk wins at breaking point and takes on taker at hell in the cell

Don't see how the chokeslam kills any heat...it's like saying Hardy was a wuss for losing to Punk at Extreme Rules after that ladder match.

When the Undertaker appears from UNDER you and goozles the crap outta you...I think you get some leeway.

Any thoughts on Bryan Danielson signing with the WWE? I think that if he gets to keep his name, or have his first name spelled as "Brian" he might go somewhere in the WWE. If they give him a silly name (which I think will happen), he may not go anywhere in the WWE. I really want him to either keep his name as is or spell his first name with an "I" instead of a "Y" but I somehow doubt it.

He's also a submission guy and the WWE needs someone like that on their roster. He could be like Chris Benoit (without the "going insane and killing his family part").

I see him being used as a low mid carder/jobber.

Bryan Danielson will be sent to RAW then jobbed out to Cena and HHH, then sent to ECW and buried by Kozlov then wished best of luck in all future endeavors. This is the natural order of things.

It appears Sting really is retiring this year at TNA's Bound For Glory.

Here is the teaser poster for BFG featuring Sting and titled "the final curtain?"

Apparently TNA has flyers being sent around at Summerslam tonight teasing Sting retirement as well.

Hopefully he'll end up on Friday Nights.

Aside from fans running into the ring, the rest of the "fan involvement" is planned

Jobbing out Bryan Danielson doesn't make any sense imo. Outside of the IWC most people have never heard of Ring of Honor, so it's not like burying Danielson will make WWE fans think ROH sucks. The only thing it really does is add another body to the roster, and it lets ROH know that they got under your skin. It's just not a smart business decision to job out a wrestler from another company that has no chance of competing with you anyway.

Colt Cabana is going to have to disagree with that statement.

In honor of tonight's events, I have returned to the Taker avatar.

Solid PPV, I think. Almost every match had something to offer.

Maybe so, but would you not agree that giving ROH the impression that their new time slot actually matters is pretty stupid. Why give them the satisfaction?

I saw the Punk/Hardy ending with Taker showing up. I'm not sure I'm liking where this is going. I was hoping for a Punk/Morrison feud as I'm kind of worries that Punk feuding with Taker will bury him. We don't need to see Punk running away from mind games or pissing his pants. We need to see him stand his ground as a confident, arrogant, and strong straight edge heel that is not affected by Taker's gimmick.

But that is just my opinion on the matter.

How many people are going to see ROH on HDnet? That company will not be competition for the WWE, until they get a TV deal with a network that is provided by most cable/satellite companies.

It depends on how well they do on HDnet and if they get a tv deal.

Even if ROH got a tv deal they would still have to establish themselves before viewed as direct competition to the WWE.
