I'm watching Capcom's stream of RE2 right now and the damage on zombie's is amazing. He shot a zombie in the arm a few times and the arm fell off.

7 months to me is nothing. This is luckily nothing like the FF7 remake, which will probably be released on the PS6.

Haha, yeah I suppose I have no reason to complain since I can very seldom find enough time to play the games that I do own and want to finish.

I noticed he tries to encourage himself from time to time, telling himself "You can do this" and stuff. It's nice touch if you ask me considering he is a rookie as you said.
Lets just hope he doesn't keep doing that all throughout the game though t:

Eh. I kinda hate that. It's Leon and Claire's game. I'm cool with the other RE characters popping up in Mercenaries, but a Chris skin with Leon's voice and dialogue in the main story? Nah.

7 months to me is nothing. This is luckily nothing like the FF7 remake, which will probably be released on the PS6.

Besides, there are many games that come out before RE2R. There even a couple of backlog titles and I intend to boot up this Summer. Thank **** it's not like FFVIIR. I realize that it's more ambitious and expectations are sky-high, but I'm surprised how Capcom was dead silent for 3 years and then suddenly rolled out gameplay demo without any ifs and buts. That's how it should be done.

I love the John Wick status upgrade, it helped make RE4 more fun.

I'm mixed on RE4. On one hand, it was rather innovative and refreshing for the franchise. It was very well made. On the other, it abandoned nearly everything I loved about the classic trilogy. More shooting and arcade action, no survival or claustrophobic environments. I didn't feel fear or isolation. Add there over the top monsters like giant goblins... RE was never realistic, but it was rather gritty and RE4 introduced too much absurdity. Zombies were gone. And then it went astray.

I played RE4 for the first time recently and absolutely loved it. The controls took some getting used to, but I just loved it overall.

RE2 is one of my favourite games ever, but for it does need updating. So making it in the style of 4 is a good thing for me.

That's why RE2R is so exciting for me. It takes the best from both worlds, merges it and even updates. Gone clunky controls of the originals, now you can aim properly and shoot while moving.

Then dont use it. I dont see why it would be a problem as an unlockable for people that have beat the game and want to go back with a different look

Hard to happen when we know he's the cause of the outbreak, and Sherry having a healing factor in RE6.
