I like Mark 3 and 6 pretty darn awesome. So he's back to the circular reactor in Avengers?? Why? And I was just getting used to the triangle one...

does it mean he designed new reactor or even made a new element or did he go bad to his old designed ?

I think the reactor itself is circular, you see it when he puts it on in IM2. The triangle is a cover panel in his chest armor.

This is it. The reactor itself is circular, the triangle is just the armour shape. Maybe it's cosmetic purposes. He might just prefer the circle over the triangle.

bigthor, Look at their breastplates/chest pieces. mark 4s more defined and angular, longer abs too. mark 4 also has bell bottom type ankles and bigger calves and wrists. all in all, mark 4 looks slightly more anime. if that means anything. look at their traps as well. mark 3s is more defined but that might be cos his arms not up.

Thanks I see the differences now, yeah I like Mark III a good bit more than Mark IV.

Unless they bring in Spidey in a possible sequel...I mean, they already rebooted the movie right? And Parker IS an Avenger...I learned that the hard way...

I hate to think they'd go to all the trouble of creating a car that would make James Bond jealous and not feature it in an action scene.

Like it's been stated, throughout all of his films, his chest "thingy" (technical term) has always been circular) the shape of the element that went INto the circular device was triangle.
For all Tony cares, if he so desired, he could change the opening on the suits chest to resemble a Star, or a pentagon ....
I'm guessing the circle shape, MIGHT be more conducive to a better Uni beam blast.

That's what I was thinking, why bother inventing all these specs for it if it isn't part of a sequence. I think it would be interesting to see how they incorporate a car chase given the type of enemy the Avengers face.

Spidey is with Sony so the chances of him showing up in the MCU are slim. I'd love to see it happen though...

The only thing I don't like about Iron Man changing armors so much is the fact that he only uses them for one or two action scenes then it's on to the next model.

Yeah it definately does, I hope it's uni-beam is alot bigger and more powerful than the one from his solo films similar to the size of the uni-beam in A:EMH.

Definately one of my favorite clips in the superbowl spot, I'm suprised more people aren't talking about it in the "News and Speculation" thread
