I have been looking at the "X-Men: First Class" casting threads and I saw an actress a fan suggested for Jean Grey would be great for Babs:

Stacey Farber

I am all for Robin, but no Batgirl for me thanks... It gets cheesy from that point on...

Hey guys, Paramount just bought WB. Guess who is gonna play Robin:

It only gets cheesy with bad writing
Well i am fine with Dick. Maybe later Tim comes (no Jason for the love of god). But when the batfamily consists of half of gotham... well...

I especially dont like Batgirl though. Cheesy name, babs is gordon's daughter... Eh...
And that coming from a redhead lover!

Well, I'm a fan of all the male Robins. Jason(before returning from the dead) was my favorite Robin because he was such a great tragic character.

And Gotham is much bigger than Batman, and 4 sidekicks(the Robins, Batgirl) especially when spread out over time, so the half of Gotham thing is null.

I'm not quite sure how Batgirl is any cheesier than Batman, Catwoman, Joker, Two-Face, Riddler, etc. And her being Gordon's daughter isn't cheesy at all.

Emile Hirsch as Robin. Bonnie Wright as Batgirl

That is...if this EVER happened :l

I could see it. What about Leonardo DiCaprio as Robin? He screentested for this role in Batman Forever in 1995. He lost and the role went to Chris O'Donnel.

I know I was wrong but Leo as Robin, but he did want the role badly a while back for Batman Forever. Bad enough to get a screentest done for it. Good thing he didn't get it because that film sucked! As for Emile Hirsch, he's like 5'4'' how could batman have a sidekick who is a foot shorter than him. Batman is like 6'1'' or 6'2'' roughly, Emile should just stick to the genres of comedy and romance.

Shia LaBeouf has about as much range as Megan Fox does. He's a much better actor, but he can't move outside of his fast-talked, nervous, child-like character. I don't think Anne Hathaway would be a huge issue as Batgirl, but that strongly depends on the route Nolan takes with Batgirl. She'd be better suited for a Batgirl spin-off that portrays Batgirl's adult years.

Plus, I just really can't see Anne having real chemistry with this cast, for some reason. I could very well be wrong though, as she's a great actress.

BARBARA GORDON (adult) - Rose Byrne

As for Dick Grayson/Nightwing and young Barbara, I have no idea.
