I hope we have the old shield & that breaks & we get the round shield.

like i said a few times in the past, i see no reason why both the triangle shield and the round shield cant show up during the course of the film. There is easy ways to get both added to the film.

I think the shield should have a name like ... "Shield" and should respond to his commands. Like "Jarvis" or the stupid robot in the IM movies.

It could then tell cap how to win and offer some comic situations while Caps in battle. Like the old (cooler) Star-Lord and "Widget".

Then Odin could put some "enchantment" mojo on it so like only someone as boy-scout-ish as Cap can wield it! It would be cool!

If the shield was like the other WW2 ones (the traditional knight style), I'd be all for Tony creating a new one, but since they went with the main design I'm fine with him keeping this one.

Because the shield should be one piece of metal with a paint job. The thing in IM2 had layers, circuitry, raised details, it looked like some lame alternate shield design from the 1990's. The original uber-indestructible shield is so, so much cooler. Hell, I explained it to one of my cousins that Wolverines claws could not cut it, and he was like "I thought Wolverines claws can cut through anything" and it's like "Nope, not Cap's shield."

That thing in Iron Man, looks weak as hell.

Yeah, the shield in IM2 looked liked something you buy for your kid at Toys R Us. It looked flimsy as hell. The shield needs to be one solid piece of metal..and indestructible.

well i cant wait to we get first reveal's of the shield(s) used in the film.

It looked good from a distance, then I seen the rivets & segments in it. Eh, could be worse, at least it's not loaded with tech like I was worried about.

If this is the old shield then the rivets are classic look. I like it nice touch.

Um, why would segments and rivets work on something that was one piece with paint?

How do you know how they designed the original shield back in the 1940s. They will probably update it to the Kevlar Plastic one for the modern Capt.

Because it was one solid piece of indestructible metal, no segments, welded pieces, rivets, etc.. Read up on it.

This works well enough for me though, just not impressed with the fine detail additions, could have been much worse (*looking at the costume*).

I am actually seeing a live action version of the vibranium shield.

Let that sink in for a minute.

I actually prefer that one to my Museum Replicas one. I'll definitely put mine up for sale once I know for sure someone's making these for production.

That is awesome! Enough said.:awesome:

And how can you even complain?!!!!! Nothing can ever be good enough...

No complaints here, I think it looks perfect. I wonder what it sounds like bouncing off a human skull?

sorry..... it makes the same sound as the TIE fighters from Star Wars

That looks awesome , kicks so much ass :)
