I bought the shining in blu-ray a month or so ago, it still looks freaking beautiful.

Yeah, I haven't made the leap to blu yet. but even for a regular dvd it looks pretty good.

**** man, do yourself a favor and get one, you can get decent ones for like 80 bucks now, like LG's and such. I dont have many but I doubled dipped and picked up some of my favorite movies in blu-ray, its like watching them for the first time all over again, unreal

see the problem is, i bought an HDdvd player already LOL.
I bought it when they first came out. and i only own like 10 of them since they stopped making them.

I intend on getting one. or a PS3. but that would be in the future.

Haha, my old roommate did the same thing. I waited until there was only blu-ray before I caved in, and PS3's were still 400+ at the time so I just picked up a standard player, theyre fantastic though.


Its gonna be weird seeing that new avvy now, you've had the old one for like 2+ years haha.

I'm just getting tired of my xbox. I totally want to play the next Zelda though, too, so i might get a wii.


I'll probably change it back eventually.... just gotta keep 'em on their toes.

I hate how there's only like 2 episodes with bane though....

He was seen in original episode, Over the Edge, an episode of Superman TAS where Clark put on the Batsuit, and an episode of Batman Beyond. He was also in the Mystery of the Batwoman movie.

I'm kinda glad he wasn't overused, or he'd have ended up repetitive.

The way in which we had to uncover it totally reminded me of the first time we saw the Joker. Good times. Bane hasn't disappointed me.

I bet anything Joey King is going to be Gordon's daughter. I know some guys are like "there's no way Nolan will have Batgirl" but ugh, hello? She can be Barbara Gordon without being Batgirl, I mean, we kinda saw her in TDK. Obviously, they didn't cast an actress for that role, and now they have?

It was amazing.

I loved the previous X-Men movies, and although this didn't feel much like the others, I loved First Class just as much/perhaps more. I definitely agree with people saying it had strong hints of early Bond movies, but it was a fantastic movie in its own right, and yet still maintained some faithfulness towards the later X-Movies.

I never felt bored, it didn't feel too short or too long, and I'm tempted to see it again.

I wish it had a better opening weekend, but this summer is going to be so competitive. Predictable winners will be Transformers 3 and the final Harry Potter. I don't think that Captain America will do better than Thor, and have no idea how Green Lantern will do.

Perhaps fans will see First Class more than once? It really does deserve to do well, considering how good it is.

I dunno about you, but I really liked it.... for the most part.

I loved it, I've been waiting for the powers that be to really give Magneto a proper translation. I thought he was by far the best part of an overall great film. I was kind of let down by Magneto's final costume though.

I really hope First Class does well, its just poor luck that theres a highly anticipated film coming out every week for then next month or so. I'm really curious to see where the franchise goes next, I would love to see Mr. Sinister.
