The Spider-Man 3 FAQ Thread

Black Spidey is going to be such a badass in this film. Throwing pumpkin bombs at his friend, grinding Sandman's face into a train, breaking Eddie Brock's camera etc. Haha! I love it. I hope there is a lot of this stuff.

I know! I know Spidey can't stay this way forever, but he's going to make such an awesome badass, that I'll be disappointed when he goes back to Nice Guy Peter Parker late in the movie. Parker/Spider-man is such a put upon hero and takes so much guff from people that it's going to be great seeing him give some grief back at everyone who pressures him to be this version of their ideal (boyfriend, friend, student, nephew, employee, etc).

agreed. symbiote spidey is so freakin cool!:venom:.

Oh yeah, I just thought it would be great to see him go toe-to-toe with JJJ in some kind of 'battle of quips' and win too. THAT, would be a great scene! Finally giving some stuff back to JJ.

I noticed something in the trailer that makes me scratch my head. When Flint Marko is trying to outrun the police, why are the police running and holding their attack dogs by their leashes? They should have just let the dogs go and then they would have caught Marko for sure!

Hahaha go to moviemistakes.com and post it :yay: :woot:

i think it is becauser if they let the dogs run after marko on their own, the police are probably afraid that the dogs might bite skin or try to tear something off his body. they have to hold the dogs so that they trip him. but not bite him.

They were also running him into a barbed wire fence. They had him cornered, but he went over.

Are you serious? The police wouldnt give a damn what the dogs do to him. Plus the dogs are trained to subdue a criminal, not to kill one.

you got to be joking :wow:

than please explain to me why do they have the dogs with them if they can not let them go? whats the purpose of the dogs?

I was thinking and wondering the same things.

maybe they had to wait for the right time to let the dogs loose and go after marko.

Weren't they supposed to be classic bloodhounds? Those would be for tracking an escapee (*cough* Flint Marko *cough*) with their excellent sense of smell, not mauling him like a german shepard or something. Those dogs are used all the time in movies when they're trackin' the bad guy through woods y'know?
The hounds found him, and now its up to the police to get him.

I'd kill to see him rip JJJ a new one. Ditto Connors. :woot:

Oh yeah I just checked it again. They were German shepards. Well I don't have any answers then.
they were running after sandman. not looking for him, they could have had the dogs on a leash so that in case they can not find marko the dogs can smell and find him.

German Shepards are also used for tracking, they, like all dogs have great senses of smell. They are often used to find drugs. They are tracking Marko. Police don't let dogs go out on their own to find criminals. They let them go once they find the guy and then the dogs subdue the criminal.

Yea, but in this instance they actually did find him. Marko is clearly running right in front of the police yet they still hold onto their dogs. At this point the police could have let go of their dogs and Marko would have been subdued.

marko climbed over the fence. the dogs would not be able to get him.

LOL, he got over the fence because the police never released the dogs early enough. That's the whole point.

he would have gotten over the fence anyway.

I bet when we see the movie itself, the cops will come to release the dogs, chase Marko in the field, and he'll just barely escape them by jumping up on the fence. That would work for everyone wouldn't it?:yay:
