Yeah the paint job on that one is really good. Same with Megatron. Makes me wonder why they don't just do it right the first time...

Well Blackout was just a Hasbro release of a Tak/To exclusive repaint. Megatron wouldn't have happened if they hadn't extended movie 1 by 4 months.

Which I for one am very thankful for, because I outright refused to get Megatron with his original paint.

I suppose I'll put up my Superman & Villains portion of my DC collection, with a few things I didn't have when I took the previous pics...

I know that dudes like Firestorm, Capt. Atom, Grodd, and Despero aren't really Superman or Superman villains, but I think they look alright there.

Catwoman's in back to help hide the fact that she's so damn tall.

And my growing display of New Gods, with Kalibak pieces waiting for a leg and his torso before he can be put together.

I used to beel that Balent Catwoman was too tall as well......but this was right at the time DCD was arbitrarily switching to 7 inch, but also....look, she's got some wicked Heels on her.....she's actually semi accurate with those heels.

Yeah, the heels do make her height a bit more acceptable. But even with those heels it doesn't feel right that she's the tallest one on that shelf, excluding Elongated Man and his wacky elongated neck. But yeah, from my eyeline looking down on that display, I find that her position in the back row makes her size much less noticeable.

Anyway, I'm heading into town and I'm gonna hit TRU and Zellers, and see if I can find anything good.

I'm gonna hit TRU today as well, I hear that DCU 7's been showing up in Canada....and those we actually seem to get in the west the same time as in the east.

Star Wars Mighty Muggs, Transformer, and Galactic Heroes on the upper two shelves. Misc figs (Six from BSG forced to use DCD Darkseid's stand in order to stay upright, Marv, Goku & Vegeta, the 9th Doctor, Savage Dragon, Indiana Jones & Native Dude, and Master Chief) on the bottom shelf.

I suppose I should finish up my Transformers displays, since I just noticed that I forgot to put up pics of my current Classics/Universe and Animated shelves...

The original crew of Autobots and original crew of Decepticons from the first episode of TFA.

...and the characters that only debuted in later episodes. I haven't put Shockwave in with these guys yet, but I will soon enough.

Yes, Electro's leaning against the shelf, since he's a special kid who can't stand up on his own.

And here you can see the sole reason for why I got the 3.75' Deadpool--so that he can look a little embarrassed about his comparative size.

Just finishing up showing the top shelf...

Xavier's chair is not in my possession at the moment (I forgot it at a friend's place about a month ago, and I haven't been out to get it back yet), but it does leave ol' Charlie in a fun position:

I've got a spot of sticky tac on Reed's feet cuz of the weight of having that big arm out like that.

Yeah, my Sentinel is incomplete (his arms are both at his feet), but I should get his upper torso soon to bring it all together, once Assassin's package arrives.

Next shelf down on my Marvel display:

You can see some of my custom paint on the exposed machinery around Movie-Tony's chestpiece.

Taskmaster's pose here is intended to mimic Cap's stance to some degree, which I felt was in keeping with his character.

Yeah, the Ult. Cap fig seems to have a reputation for having both a funky face, and wacky hunched shoulders.
